Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian-owned structure used for agricultural purposes, uprooted olive trees and razed agricultural lands in Masafer Yatta in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, on Monday.
Rateb al-Jbour, coordinator of a local popular committee in Hebron area, reported that Israeli forces demolished a greenhouse and uprooted olive trees after razing one dunam of land.
Israeli forces said that the demolished structure lacked the nearly-impossible-to-obtain Israeli construction permit.
Around 3,000 Israeli settlers live in illegal Jewish-only settlements in the Yatta region, according to the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem.
The South Hebron Hills, known locally as Masafer Yatta, lie almost entirely in Area C, the 62 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli civil and security control since the 1993 Oslo Accords.
Masafer Yatta residents were expelled at the time of the establishment of a firing zone in the 1970s and were eventually allowed back following a long court battle, but are under the constant threat of being expelled or seeing their homes demolished.

The PIC reporter said that the IOF broke into the house of the Palestinian martyr Saleh al-Barghouti in Beit Rima town, west of Ramallah, and interrogated his wife.
In the nearby al-Ersal area in Ramallah, the IOF raided the house of the Palestinian journalist Alaa al-Rimawi and seized mobiles, laptops, and 7,000 NIS before they left.
At least six Palestinians were arrested in Jerusalem and two others in Ya'bad town in Jenin, local residents told the PIC reporter.
Meanwhile in Nablus, violent clashes broke out at daybreak during which the IOF heavily fired live ammunition and teargas canisters at the Palestinians.
The IOF raided many Palestinian houses and wreaked havoc on them, and abruptly closed Huwara checkpoint and blocked movement in both directions.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee filed an appeal to the Israeli Supreme Court, on Sunday, denouncing the Israeli government’s seizure of 1,200 dunams (297 acres) of Palestinian-owned land south of the Bethlehem district, in the southern occupied West Bank.
The head of the committee, Hassan Bureija, told the Voice of Palestine radio that the Israeli government granted 1,182 dunams (292 acres) of the seized Palestinian land to the Israeli Ministry of Construction and Housing as a foundation for building an illegal Israeli outpost in the area.
According to settlement watchdog Peace Now, in the two years since United States President Trump took office some 14,454 unites in the West Bank has been approved, which is more then three times the amount that was approved in the year and a half before his inauguration (4,476 units).
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
The estimated 196 governments recognized Israeli settlements scattered across the Palestinian territory are all considered illegal under international law.

Israeli settlers set up in the Khallet Makhoul area in the Jordan Valley in the northern occupied West Bank, on Wednesday.
Local activist Aaref Daraghmeh reported that Israeli settlers set up tents in Khallet Makhoul to use for their sheep.
Daraghmeh expressed concerns that erecting these tents could lead to a settlement outpost that would eventually become a new illegal Israeli settlement.
The Jordan Valley forms a third of the occupied West Bank, with 88 percent of its land classified as Area C -- under full Israeli military control.
57 percent of the land in the Jordan Valley has been declared closed military zones, also known as a "firing zones," where Israeli army forces routinely train using live ammunition and explosive devices.
Nearly 20 percent of the occupied West Bank has been declared "firing zones" since the 1970s, but according to the UN, some 80 percent of these areas are not in fact used for military training.
However, when military training does take place, Israeli forces families to leave their homes for hours or days at a time until the drill is over.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers, accompanied by armored bulldozers, invaded the al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and demolished a car repair facility.
The WAFA Palestinian News Agency has reported that the soldiers demolished the facility, owned by Raja Daraghma, located near the main road between Ramallah and Nablus.
It added that Daraghma’s car repair facility was attacked by soldiers and colonialist settlers in many previous incidents.
It is worth mentioning that the Palestinians have been denied the right to build in that area since Israel occupied the rest of Palestine in 1967, while their existing homes and facilities witness frequent invasions and violations.
