Settlers attack Palestinians in Jenin
Picture
Groups of settlers, accompanied by the occupation forces (IOF), stormed on Friday morning the area between the villages of Kefert and Yaabad, south of Jenin, where they attacked the citizens and erected roadblocks. Local sources said that large numbers of settlers closed the entrances of Yaabad and Kefert and prevented the farmers from entering their lands.

They added that the settlers erected three military roadblocks in the area on the main street and blocked the traffic.

The occupation forces have waged a fierce attack on Yaabad for over a month, which led to the arrest of dozens of the town's residents.

Meanwhile, the IOF raided at dawn Friday the towns of Zababda, Araba and Kafr El Ra'i and conducted sweeps.

Picture
Large Israeli military forces stormed at dawn Thursday the city of Nablus while a drone was flying over the area, to provide protection for settlers who arrived on many buses to Youssef's Tomb in Balata town, east of Nablus to perform Talmudic rituals. Eyewitnesses said that over 10 patrols accompanied the settlers’ buses which passed through the crossroads of Elon Moreh settlement. They were deployed in the vicinity of the grave for several hours before they withdrew.

Another Israeli force raided the areas of Ras al-Ain, the Northern Mountain and New Nablus and searched several houses.

Army To Illegally Confiscate Lands In Hebron
Picture
Israeli Soldiers invaded on Thursday morning [November 21, 2013] the Deerat village, east of Yatta in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and illegally confiscated seven Dunams of Palestinian lands in order to pave a road for Jewish settlers.

Coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Hebron Rateb Jabour stated that the army carried maps showing the new planned settler-only road that would split the village and lead to the destruction of several houses.

Jabour added that the homes are part of the village, but Israel considers them to be out of the zoning area.

The road would lead to the illegal annexation of thousands of Dunams of Palestinian lands in the region.

Also on Thursday, soldiers kidnapped Mohannad Al-Mohtaseb, 17 years of age, from the Old City of Hebron.

Jewish settlers, intelligence elements break into Aqsa Mosque
Picture
Israeli intelligence elements broke into the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday morning in the company of dozens of Jewish settlers. The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage (AFEH) said in a press release that 29 Jewish settlers and 31 intelligence elements entered the Aqsa via Maghareba gate and toured its various plazas and some of them tried to offer Talmudic rituals.

It said that worshipers and students inside the Aqsa tried to confront the settlers and chanted slogans against the repeated storming of the holy site.

AFEH pointed out that Jewish settlers and various Israeli institutions were organizing daily “visits” to the Aqsa Mosque under tight security measures.

The foundation charged that the Israeli occupation was trying to prove its daily presence in the Mosque in a bid to prepare for dividing it between Muslims and Jews, adding that the goal would not be achieved and the site of those storming the Mosque would never be routine and normal.

IOF order Bardala villagers in Jordan Valley to leave their homes
Picture
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Tuesday Bardala village in the Jordan Valley and ordered its Palestinian natives to evacuate their homes. Local sources reported that Israeli troops raided the tents of the villagers and gave them until the first of December to leave the village.

The sources affirmed that the structures of the village had been built tens of years ago and its lands belong to the natives, adding that the villagers use some of the tents and structures they had built on their own lands for agricultural purposes.

For his part, Aref Daraghmeh, head of the Palestinian municipal council in the Jordan Valley area, appealed to the Palestinian Authority and human rights groups to stand by the Bardala villagers and curb Israel's violations against them.

In a separate incident, dozens of Jewish settlers illegally living in Palestinian-owned areas in the Jordan Valley established a settlement outpost in the same place where an Israeli officer was killed last month.

According to Maariv newspaper on Tuesday, the settlers managed to provide their outpost with electricity and started to connect it with the water and sewage networks in the area.

Palestinian medical sources have reported that a Palestinian woman was wounded after being rammed by a speeding vehicle of an Israeli settler, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

The sources said that Shamsa Sharif, 60 years of age, was moved to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, suffering moderate but stable injuries.

Sharif is from Huwwara village, south of Nablus. The settler fled the scene after the incident.

There have been numerous similar hit-and-run incidents in different parts of the occupied West Bank, mainly in the Hebron district in the southern portion of the West Bank.

On November 19, 2013, a young woman identified as Zeina Omar Awad, 21, was injured after being rammed by a settler’s vehicle at the main entrance of Beit Ummar. She suffered cuts and bruises, while the settler fled the scene.

On October 16, 2013, an elderly Palestinian man was seriously injured after being hit by a settler’s vehicle in Al-Fondoq village, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the West Bank.

Ridwan calls for defending the Aqsa in face of repeated storming

Minister of Awkaf and religious affairs in the Gaza government Dr. Ismail Ridwan has denounced the Jewish settlers’ storming of the Aqsa Mosque on Monday under Israeli police protection. He said that the Israeli occupation authorities were allowing such break-ins into the holy site in a bid to prepare for dividing the Mosque temporally and spatially exploiting the preoccupation of most countries with internal problems.

The minister warned that such provocations to Muslim feelings would entail serious consequences.

Ridwan called on worshipers and vigilantes to stand fast in face of those settlers and to confront their attempts to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque.

He urged the Arab and Islamic countries, the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and international and human rights organizations to step in and restrain the ceaseless attacks on the Palestinian people and the Aqsa Mosque.

Increase in settlement building amid settler violence
The Israeli regime is planning to build over 1,200 new settler units in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank despite international criticism.

The Israeli NGO, Peace Now, reported on Tuesday that Tel Aviv published tenders for 607 units in the Pisgat Zeev neighborhood and 606 units in Ramot, both in East al-Quds. The regime has also re-offered tenders for another 72 homes in the Ariel settlement in the West Bank.

The NGO had this to say “It seems that Netanyahu is afraid of the new administration that is being elected today in the US, and he has chosen the day of election to publish the tenders so that there will be the least public attention to his action,”

With all eyes on the US now and for the coming weeks Israel is taking full
advantage of this with sharp increase in settlement building plans and settler’s violently attacking Palestinians.

Jewish settlers on Monday attacked a Palestinian family in East Jerusalem, forcing them from their homes, the family said.

Mahmoud Abu al-Hawa told Ma'an the settlers smashed the windows of his home in al-Tur and ransacked his elderly mother's room, causing her to pass out, he said.

An Israeli court has ruled that a relative of al-Hawa sold the home to the Elad settler association, he added.

When I entered the intersection of “Bar Elan” Street, I saw hundreds of Jewish extremists burning the garbage and when I stopped at the traffic light, they quickly approached me and chanted “Arabian…Arabian”. They started throwing stones towards me in which some of them were big rocks and directly hit my face and caused me to bleed; they also broke the front and back windshields of my car.”

Hirbawi added: “I quickly left the area and headed to Al-Maqased Hospital and then onto Al-Maskobyeh where I filed a claim against the assaulters.”

Aqsa foundation warns of new wave of Jewish break-ins at Aqsa Mosque

The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage warned of a new spate of Jewish break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque during the coming days in conjunction with the Jewish festival called Hanukkah. The Aqsa foundation stated in a press release that more than 130 Jewish settlers, including the notorious rabbi Yehuda Glick, Jewish students, and Shabak individuals desecrated the Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning under tight security protection.

The foundation also warned that head of the temple institute Yisrael Ariel and deputy speaker of the Knesset declared their intentions to defile the Aqsa Mosque soon.

It noted that extremist Jewish groups advocating the building of the alleged temple in place of the Aqsa Mosque called lately on their followers to participate in a mass break-in at the Aqsa Mosque on November 28 on the occasion of the Hanukkah festival.

It also said that head of the Knesset's interior committee Miri Regev pledged to hold a meeting soon with senior Israeli police officers in Jerusalem to discuss the ways to provide protection for the Jewish settlers visiting the Aqsa Mosque for rituals.

Jewish settlers desecrate Aqsa Mosque
Picture
Dozens of Jewish settlers broke into the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning under heavy Israeli police escort. The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage said in a press release that more than 70 settlers led by rabbi Yehudah Glick, who is one of the most fanatic Jewish rabbis calling for destroying the Aqsa Mosque and building the temple on its ruins, entered the Aqsa via the Maghareba gate.

It said that the settlers entered the Mosque in groups and tried to offer Talmudic rituals but were confronted by the Aqsa guards.

AFEH said that Yehudah Glick, who is the chairman of the so-called Temple Mount Heritage Fund, was denied permission to enter the Aqsa Mosque two weeks ago.

It added, however, that Jerusalem District Police Chief Yossi Pariente informed him that he would be allowed to return to the holy site in Jerusalem's Old City.

Jewish organizations calling for the building of the temple had urged its followers to break into the Aqsa Mosque on November 28th on the occasion of the Festival of Lights.

Extremist Israeli settlers vandalize Islamic cemetery
Picture
Israeli settlers spray painted the words "price tag" on 13 graves on M’man Allah cemetery in Jerusalem. Headstones were also spray  painted with the words "revenge" and "price tag." “The attack on historical Islamic cemetery is unacceptable. The attacks on headstones and graves are a policy aimed to erase the Islamic identity of the cemetery,” said Mostafa Abu Zahra, the Head of the Committee for Protecting Islamic Cemeteries.

Abu Zahra called on UNESCO and international organizations to investigate these  crimes which target the Islamic heritage

Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage said that Israeli occupation is systematically targeting M’man Allah cemetery with different ways to destroy  the remaining graves. It added that the area of the cemetery used to be 200 donums of land and it now became only 20  donums.

The Waqf Organization called Islamic and Arab countries to intervene immediately to protect this ancient cemetery which contains graves of many famous Islamic figures.

Last month, it was reported that the Jerusalem District Police Central Unit arrested 14 yeshiva students from Jerusalem, aged 13-16 on suspicion of operating as an organized group that attacked Arabs, vandalized vehicles, spray-painted hate graffiti and threw stones at vehicles with Arab drivers.

Jewish settlers threaten Jenin inhabitants
Picture
Inhabitants of Jenin city and its refugee camp have received threat messages over the past couple of days from Jewish settlers. Local sources told the PIC reporter on Saturday that settlers sent random messages to citizens and young men in Jenin city and refugee camp saying that they will pay the price for the killing of an Israeli soldier at the hands of a youngster from Jenin a few days ago.

They quoted some of those messages as saying that Jenin had turned into “a den for terrorists and killers” and others saying “death to Palestinians” and “we will teach you a lesson”.

The sources noted that the threats coincided with a ferocious campaign against workers from Jenin who were subjected to beatings, insults, and arrests for working in 1948 occupied Palestine without permit.

A Jewish gang had torched a Palestinian house in Sinjil village, near Ramallah, a couple of days earlier and left behind racist slurs and graffiti calling for revenge for the death of the soldier.

Local sources said on Thursday that the fire caused severe suffocation for five citizens as a result of smoke inhalation other than a big damage to the house.

The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage said in a statement that more than 60 settlers, mostly intelligence agents, stormed the holy site’s plazas and entered the Marwani and Dome of the Rock mosques.

It pointed out that the worshipers and vigilantes were on high alert during the tour.

The foundation charged that the Israeli occupation authorities were trying to impose a new de facto situation inside the Aqsa Mosque amidst Jewish demands for allowing Talmduic rituals inside it.

It warned that the next few days would bring more tensions as fanatic organizations called on their followers to break into the Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the Jewish festival of lights known as Hanukkeh that falls on 28th November.

Knesset member Zvulun Kalfa from the Jewish Home Party said that Jews have the right to pray at the Aqsa Mosque, according to the "peace agreement" signed between Jordan and Israel. He also denied that the occupation authorities had asked Jordan to allow Jews to pray inside the Aqsa Mosque. "The Jordanian Kingdom should allow Jews to pray at the Aqsa without the need for submitting an application for that," he claimed

Kalfa's remarks came commenting on statements by the Jordanian adviser to the Islamic and Christian holy places in the city of Jerusalem Abdul Nasser Nassar who said that "Amman refused to allow Jews to pray inside Al-Aqsa Mosque," after the occupation authorities submitted a request for that, according to Maariv newspaper.

Nassar added he will not allow the extremist Jews to pray at the Aqsa Mosque, and considered this request "an Israeli attempt to divide the mosque in order to Judaize the city of Jerusalem."

The Jordanian Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and holy sites Hayel Daoud said that Jordan categorically rejects all the Israeli occupation authorities' decisions and procedures taken in occupied Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also warned of Jewish extremists' suggestions that aim to impose the occupation's control over Al-Aqsa mosque, and considered that such step would provoke religious conflict in all places in the world.

For his part; the head of the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Engineer Mahmoud Abu Ganima stressed that he strongly rejects the Israeli allegations that claims that its presence in the Aqsa squares aims to protect it.

He added that "the occupation measures in determining the age of Muslim worshipers allowed to enter to the Aqsa Mosque is one of the most important proofs that shows the Zionist racist and exclusionary mentality adopted against our people in Jerusalem."

Abu Ganima condemned the Israeli repeated violations against Jerusalem and the persistent attempts to impose a new reality in the city, and warned that the Palestinian case is going through a very dangerous phase.

He stressed that the Aqsa Mosque with all its squares is an Islamic holy place and that no one has the right to waive it.

Concerning the electricity crisis in the Gaza Strip, he called for putting an end to it and for dealing with the electricity file away from political calculations.

Abu Ganima called on the Jordanian government to take a firm stand and protect the Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli aggressions and abuses.

The organization declared that it will carry out daily breaking-ins into the mosque starting from Monday, calling on Jewish women to participate into the "Talmudic activity." It also called on men and children to join the activity in order to increase the participants' number.

On the same context, Jewish settlers have raided this morning al-Aqsa mosque under heavy protection.

For his part, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Dr. Ismail Radwan denounced the Israeli decision to build a settlement project adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque at the expense of the Jerusalemites' lands.

He stated that Israeli authorities aimed at escalating their attacks against al-Aqsa mosque especially that the Arab nation is busy with its internal affairs.

Radwan called for activating armed resistance in Jerusalem and West Bank in defense of al-Aqsa mosque and to stop security coordination and the absurd negotiation that "provides a cover to Israeli crimes."

He also called for an Arab and Islamic firm position towards the Israeli continued crimes and attacks against al-Aqsa mosque.

For his part, the Islamic Movement in 1948-occupied Palestine has warned of Judaization projects targeting al-Aqsa mosque, saying that what was earlier negotiated has become today approved.

The Islamic Movement deputy head, Sheikh Kamal, warned of the serious implications of the Israeli plan to divide al-Aqsa mosque temporally and spatially.

Many have disregarded our warnings against Israeli Judaization plans, however today Jewish groups started today to approve and to implement those schemes.
