A number of extremist Israeli settlers attacked, on Saturday at night, a Palestinian bus driver, working for the Egged Bus Company, after boarding his bus in occupied Jerusalem. The man is from Beit Jala city, in the Bethlehem district.
The driver, Nicola Awad Ghneim, told the Radio Bethlehem 2000 that approximately at 9:10 on Saturday at night he was driving from Ramat Shlomo, near Shu’fat north of occupied Jerusalem, and when he stopped at a junction, five young Israelis boarded the bus.
“Just before I reached the Strauss Junction, two of them approached me, and one asked where I was from, I answered in Hebrew as I didn’t want trouble,” Nicola said, “The settler then accused me of being a terrorist, from what he called Sur Baher terrorist area, in Jerusalem.”
Nicola added that the settler then shouted, calling the four other settlers who were sitting in the back seat of the bus, and they started beating him while he was still driving.
“When we reached the last junction, they dragged me out of the bus, and started kicking and punching me, causing a slight fracture in my ribcage and various bruises,” he said, “They were shouting at me, telling me they are going to stab me to death.”
He also said that a Police car happened to be driving in the area, and that he shouted and asked the police to stop; the officers captured only one, and allowed the rest to run away.
“The Police showed no interest in what happened when they realized I am a Palestinian,” he stated, “They asked a Palestinian passenger about what happened, and he told them the settlers wanted to kill me.”
Nicola was moved to Shaare Zedek Israeli Hospital in Jerusalem, and when he was discharged, the Police told him they apprehended a settler testified that it was I who attacked them, but confirmed that a religious Jewish man, witnessed the incident, and is willing to testify.
“I have no doubt in my mind; they wanted to kill me when they realized I am an Arab man,” he said.
On November 17, a Palestinian bus driver, also working for Egged Israeli Bus Company was handed to death by Israeli fanatics.

Molotov cocktail hurled at settler home in East Jerusalem
According to reports by local and security sources, at least 15 Palestinians, including five minors, were taken captive by Israeli army and police during predawn raids across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Sunday.
In Hebron city, Israeli forces abducted five local residents identified as Mousa Amro, 44, Amjad Amro, 22, and Hussein Amro, 23, Mosab Zughaier, 22, and Ameen al-Qawasmi, 25.
Forces also stormed the nearby al-Fawwar refugee camp and the town of Dahiriya, where they took Ibrahim Battat and Hammam al-Titi, age 19. Muataz and Mohammad Abu Juheisha, two brothers, were also arrested after army stormed the town of Idna, to the west of Hebron, WAFA correspondence reports.
Soldiers also reportedly assaulted the brother of Ibrahim Battat, Khaled, during the former’s arrest, causing bruises throughout his body. He was transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, soldiers invaded the town of Taku, to the east of Bethlehem, kidnapping three Palestinian minors after raiding and searching their houses. The three were identified as Mohammad Amour, 16, Mahmoud Abu Mfarreh, 17, and Ahmad Yousef Sabah, 17.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli police stormed Jabal al-Mukabir neighborhood in the late night hours, and abducted 14-year-old Ali Abdu and 15-year-old Munther Abdu after a similar raid on their houses.
Mohammad Shwekat, 19, was also taken into Israeli police custody earlier last night.
Ma'an News Agency reports that unidentified assailants hurled a Molotov cocktail at a Jewish settler home in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem, according to Israeli police.
A police spokeswoman stated, Sunday, that the assailants threw the cocktail at a building known as the Ovadia House, causing serious damage to a car "seemingly belonging to an Israeli security guard who works in the building".
"No human casualties were reported," al-Samri added.
There are now reportedly over 500,000 Israeli settlers living in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, in direct violation of international law.

Jewish settlers entered and desecrated the holy Islamic site of al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning under close security protection.
Eyewitnesses said that the settlers, who entered the Aqsa compound via Mahgareba Gate, toured the holy Islamic site with special Israeli police forces accompanying them all the way through.
They said that rabbis were briefing the settlers on the alleged temple while Muslim worshipers were chanting Allahu Akbar in protest at the defilement of their holy site.

A gang of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli police forces on Saturday attacked Palestinian houses in Al-Ja'bari neighborhood in Hebron and threw stones at them.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers attacked the houses, threw stones at it, and used racist phrases like "death to Arabs" which caused a state of terror between the citizens, especially the children.
Citizens of the neighborhood called on International and Human Rights institutions to stop the terrorist attacks by the settlers protected by the Israeli occupation forces, and provide security for the unarmed citizens.

A group of fanatic Israeli settlers invaded, Friday, a Palestinian olive orchard belonging to a resident of ‘Aqraba village, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and cut at least 50 trees.
Palestinian official Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of Israeli settlements file in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, said the settlers came from Elon Moreh illegal settlement.
Daghlas added that the orchard belongs to Sa’id Bani Jame’, from Juhr ed-Deek neighborhood, in ‘Aqraba village.

According to Ma'an, Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said that two men in their twenties suffered moderate injuries after being shot in the legs by Israeli soldiers, east of Jabalia.
The men were taken to Kamal Adwan hospital, in Beit Lahiya, for treatment.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said that around 70 Palestinians had approached the security fence when Israeli forces began firing warning shots, rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse them.

Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the popular committee against the wall and settlement, said an Israeli settler rammed his car into a horse-drawn cart as 50-year-old Mohamed al-Hamada was driving it on a road in Dirat area near Karmiel settlement, causing him to suffer multiple bruises.
The cart was also destroyed and the horse suffered serious fractures.
Instead of giving him a medical help, a group of Israeli soldiers showed up and demanded the wounded Palestinian to have a license allowing him to drive a horse-pulled cart.
In another incident, an Israeli extremist settler escorted by a gunman in charge of the security of Karmiel settlement's cattle farm, physically assaulted12-year-old Zayed Suleiman while he was grazing his sheep. The helpless boy suffered several injuries.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation authority handed a demolition notice informing the principal of al-Dirat school of its intention to demolish the school cafeteria.

37 settlers stormed Thursday morning the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque through Mughrabi gate amid tight security measures. Yesterday, Israeli army bulldozers demolished a Palestinian-owned building and 20 commercial shops in occupied East Jerusalem, on the claim that they had been built without permission.
Director of Al Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Alkeswani, told Al Ray Palestinian Media Agency that 37 settlers divided to six groups stormed Al-Aqsa’s courtyards, the latest invasion involving 17 settlers breaking in through Mughrabi Gate, guarded by intelligence agents and police.
Alkeswani pointed out that a number of settlers tried to perform Talmudic rituals, but were confronted by defenders, including worshipers at the mosque, and were taken out through the gate of al-Selsela.
Alkeswani noted that the Israeli police has been blackmailing Palestinian worshipers and students by seizing their identities cards.

Two Palestinians injured by settler’s fire near Ramallah
Medical sources have reported that at least 36 Palestinians have been injured; one seriously, after dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the Shu’fat refugee camp, in occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a building that contained 20 stores.
The clashes in Shu’fat started after the soldiers demolished a large building, known as the Coca Cola building that contained 10 stores and 10 warehouses.
The building belongs to members of the Dajani family in occupied East Jerusalem.
Head of the Ras Khamis Development Committee in Shu’fat, Jamil Sandouqa, said the soldiers are trying to expand the military roadblock at the entrance of the camp.
Last year, the Israeli Supreme Court decided to remove the building and confiscate its land, for what it referred to as “security considerations.” The building was located right next to the Shu’fat military roadblock.

He has been identified as Ammar Mohammad Ali, 21 years of age; local sources said he was standing in front of his meat shop.
A child was shot in the face, and a third Palestinian suffered a skull fracture; both were shot by rubber-coated metal bullets.
Abu Ghazala added that the soldiers stopped a Red Crescent Ambulance at the Qalandia Terminal, and confiscated its keys, while the medics were trying to move a wounded Palestinian to a hospital in Ramallah.
Dozens of residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, while the soldiers used trucks to spray the residents, their homes and schools with waste-water mixed with chemicals, and fired gas bombs at schoolchildren.
Soldiers also placed concrete blocks in front of a building in the camp, occupied rooftops of several homes, and started firing at any resident walking in the streets after the army imposed curfew, forcing the entire refugee camp under house arrest.
A Palestinian identified as Nidal Fasfous, 35, was beaten by the soldiers who stopped his car, and detained him before violently assaulting and beating him causing a fracture in his nose, and various cuts and bruises to several parts of his body.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers also deliberately fired rubber-coated metal bullets at Fasfous’s car, breaking its windshield, and several windows.
They added that the soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at several shops, stores and homes.
The soldiers closed the Shu’fat roadblock, forcing the residents and cars to take an alternate road, through Hezma and ‘Anata, just to be able to enter the camp, and also installed a roadblock at the main entrance of ‘Anata.
Moreover, soldiers attempted to invade the Shu’fat Elementary School for Girls, run by the UNRWA, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at the students while trying to return home.
In related news, two Palestinians were shot by live rounds fired by an Israeli settler near the Beitello village, north west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
The two, identified as Ahmad Akram Ziyada, and Thabet Abdul-Karim Bazzar, have been moved to the Palestine Medical Center suffered moderate injuries.
Earlier Wednesday, a Palestinian child was shot and injured by a live round, fired by Israeli soldiers invading the ‘Askar refugee camp, in the northern West Bank district of Nablus; many residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Medical sources have reported that at least 36 Palestinians have been injured; one seriously, after dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the Shu’fat refugee camp, in occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a building that contained 20 stores.
The clashes in Shu’fat started after the soldiers demolished a large building, known as the Coca Cola building that contained 10 stores and 10 warehouses.
The building belongs to members of the Dajani family in occupied East Jerusalem.
Head of the Ras Khamis Development Committee in Shu’fat, Jamil Sandouqa, said the soldiers are trying to expand the military roadblock at the entrance of the camp.
Last year, the Israeli Supreme Court decided to remove the building and confiscate its land, for what it referred to as “security considerations.” The building was located right next to the Shu’fat military roadblock.
