A group of Israeli settlers on Friday morning chopped off dozens of Palestinian-owned olive trees in al-Sawiya village, south of Nablus.
Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Rahalim cut down about 30 olive trees owned by the Palestinian citizen Mahmoud Sulaiman in al-Sawiya.
Daghlas added that the settlers erected a tent in the area probably in a prelude to establish an illegal settler outpost.

Israeli soldiers invaded, Thursday, the al-Jawareesh area, west of the central West Bank city of Salfit, before uprooting 30 olive trees, in addition to demolishing 150 sustaining walls and several water wells.
The Palestinian Agriculture Ministry said the soldiers uprooted the trees, and carried the demolitions out without prior notice.
The head of Salfit City Council, Abdul-Karim Zobeidi, said the demolitions were carried out in 5 Dunams of land owned by a local resident, identified as Abdul-Rahim Yassin.
The demolitions took place not long after the Palestinian and his family managed to rehabilitate the land, and planted it with dozens of olive trees.

A group of fanatic illegal Israeli colonists cut, on Tuesday morning, at least thirty Palestinian olive trees in the as-Sawiya area, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in northern West Bank, said the colonists cut at least thirty olive trees in the al-Wadi area.
He added that the trees are owned by Mohammad Yousef Tayyim and Ali Mahmoud Suleiman, both from the as-Sawiya village.

He added that the colonists were attempting to burn the trees in 25 Dunams of Palestinian olive orchards.
Azem said the residents managed to notice the fire fast, and chased the colonists out of their orchards, before extinguishing the fire which already consumed several trees.
It is worth mentioning that the colonists fled towards the site of the evacuated Homesh illegal outpost, west of Nablus, while Israeli soldiers rushed to the area and prevented the Palestinians from chasing them.

Israeli settlers ganged up on a Palestinian farmer in Khader town in Bethlehem district while picking olives in his land on Sunday.
Security sources and eyewitnesses told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that a group of settlers assaulted Raed Khalil Salah, 45, in his land south of Khader town.
They said that the settlers beat up the farmer who was later hospitalized with facial injuries.

Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, on Sunday morning, a young Palestinian man in Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, after the army prevented many families from entering their orchards to harvest their olive trees.
Media sources said the soldiers attacked many Palestinians, and prevented them from entering their olive orchards, and added that the soldiers also fired many live rounds at them.
They stated that one Palestinian was shot with a live Israeli army round and suffered a life-threatening injury.
The attack comes amidst seriously escalating Israeli violations against the Palestinians in their orchards, and include frequent assaults by colonialist settlers, illegally squatting on Palestinian lands.
These violations escalate during the olive harvest season, especially in lands that are isolated by the illegal Annexation Wall, or close to illegal colonies and outposts, which were built on stolen Palestinian lands.
They also include cutting, burning and uprooting trees, picking olive trees and stealing the produce, in addition to assaulting the Palestinians and forcing them out of their orchards.

Israeli settlers on Friday attacked Palestinian citizens during olive harvest in Jaloud town south of Nablus City.

At dawn, on Sunday,Israeli settlers destroyed dozens of Palestinian-owned olive trees in Yasuf and al-Sawiya villages, in the occupied West Bank districts of Salfit and Nablus.
Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Rahalim chopped off about 60 olive trees in al-Sawiya village.
Head of Yasuf’s village council, Khaled Ibayya, said that 58 olive trees were cut down in his village.
