For the third consecutive day, illegal Israeli colonialist settlers burnt more than 100 olive trees, owned by a Palestinian family in al- Mughayyir Palestinian village, northeast of Ramallah in central West Bank.
The colonists invaded large areas of farmlands and orchards, and burnt more than 100 trees, owned by members of the Na’san family, the Palestinian TV has reported.
The family said they planted the trees on their own lands more than ten years ago, and has been since then tending to their orchards and fields despite the Israeli restrictions and constant violations, especially since they are in Area C of the occupied West Bank, under full Israeli control.
Palestinian firefighters tried to reach the lands, but the Israeli military restrictions prevented them from performing their duties.
Many villagers rushed to the lands to help the family, and managed to extinguish the fire using branches and sticks, preventing it from spreading to more lands, including wheat fields.
The Palestinian farmers in the area told Palestine TV that they would never abandon their lands and orchards, despite the constant Israeli attacks, including burning the lands and uprooting the trees.

A group of illegal Israeli colonialist settlers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, Palestinian olive orchards near the central West Bank city of Ramallah and cut more than 150 trees.
Media sources said the assailants came from an illegal outpost, which was installed on private Palestinian lands in Burqa village, east of Ramallah, and cut more than 150 olive trees.
Ibrahim Kanaan, one of the villagers whose trees were cut, said the attack came just two days after several colonists attempted to assault him while he was plowing his land.
Such violations and assaults are frequent in the occupied West Bank, and include bulldozing Palestinian lands, burning them and even flooding them with sewage.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) used military bulldozers to raze Palestinian cultivated land lots in Beit Jala to the west of Bethlehem on Monday.
Owner of the land Walid Zireina said that the IOF soldiers broke into his and his brother’s land and bulldozed the four-dunum land lot, noting that Israeli municipality teams were in the company of the soldiers.
He pointed out that the bulldozing cut off dozens of olive trees, noting that the land included at least 200 olives trees.
He said that the IOF declared the area a closed military zone and arrested his brother Ayman, who was in his land during the process.

A group of Israeli settlers uprooted dozens of Palestinian-owned olive trees, on Tuesday, in an agricultural area near the Burin village, south of the northern occupied West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that Israeli settlers from the illegal Yitzhar settlement stormed an agricultural area near the main road of the settlement.
Daghlas pointed out that about 33 olive trees were uprooted by Israeli forces and belong to Palestinian resident, Castro Mahmoud Qadrous.
According to a report by Israeli NGO B'Tselem, Israeli settlers' vandalism in the occupied West Bank is a daily routine and is fully backed by Israeli authorities.
B'Tselem reported that "In just over two months, from the beginning of May to 7 July 2018, B'Tselem documented 10 instances in which settlers destroyed a total of more than 2,000 trees and grapevines and burned down a barley field and bales of hay."
B'Tselem also argued that under the guise of a "temporary military occupation," Israel has been "using the land as its own: robbing land, exploiting the area’s natural resources for its own benefit and establishing permanent settlements," estimating that Israel had dispossessed Palestinians from some 200,000 hectares (494,211 acres) of lands in the occupied Palestinian territory over the years.
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law, with recent announcements of settlement expansion provoking condemnation from the international community.

Israeli forces, today, uprooted some 350 olive saplings and razed lands in Khillet al-Dabe’, Masafer Yatta, in the Hebron area of the southern occupied West Bank, according to Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the National and Popular Committee in southern Hebron.
Jabour told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers razed lands and uprooted saplings planted by local residents and anti-settlement activists in the area, in order to reclaim the land and protect it from Israeli takeover.
The South Hebron Hills, known locally as Masafer Yatta, lie almost entirely in Area C, the 62 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli civil and security control since the 1993 Oslo Accords.
Masafer Yatta residents were expelled at the time of the establishment of a firing zone, in the 1970s, and were eventually allowed back, following a long court battle, but are under the constant threat of being expelled or seeing their homes demolished.

Israeli bulldozers razed dozens of dunams and uprooted hundreds of Palestinian-owned trees, on Monday afternoon, on lands belonging to residents from the Bartaa village, southwest of the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin.
According to local sources, Israeli forces along with bulldozers stormed the area and began to raze about 28 dunams (6.9 acres) of land. In addition, bulldozers uprooted 300 almond and olive trees.
Sources added that the razed land belonged to Jamal Sharif Amarneh.
According to Palestinians and rights groups, Israel's main goal, both in its policies in Area C, in which more than 60% of Palestinian land is under full Israeli control, and Israel's illegal settlement enterprise, is to depopulate the land of its Palestinian residents and to replace them with Jewish Israeli communities, in order to manipulate population demographics in all of historic Palestine.
The movement of Israeli settlers taking over Palestinian land, and further displacing the local Palestinian population has been a "stable" Israeli policy since the takeover of the West Bank and Jerusalem in 1967, B'Tselem said, underscoring that all "Israeli legislative, legal, planning, funding, and defense bodies" have played an active role in the dispossession of Palestinians from their lands.

Israeli forces cut down and uprooted hundreds of Palestinian-owned olive trees in Jordan Valley in the northern occupied West Bank, on Monday.
Mutaz Bisharat, a Palestinian official who monitors settlement activity in the Jordan Valley/Tubas district, told Ma'an that the Israeli Civil Administration staff raided the Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley and bulldozers began to uproot olive trees.
Bisharat confirmed that more than 520 olive trees were either cut down or uprooted.
He added that the olive trees were about 15 years old.
Bisharat also mentioned that the olive trees belonged to five Palestinian residents. About 250 trees belonged to Muhammad Salah Yousef Sawafta, 160 trees belonged to Amer Sawafta, 70 trees belonged to Amer Ehmil, 40 trees belonged to Izzat al-Rashayda, and four dunams (0.98 acres) of chickpea harvest belonged to Ziyad Sawafta.
The Jordan Valley forms a third of the occupied West Bank, with 88% of its land classified as Area C -- under full Israeli military control.
International rights organizations consider the continuation of the Israeli campaign which targets Palestinians in the Jordan Valley, whether though confiscations, demolitions or evictions under the pretext of holding military exercises, as a violation of international humanitarian law.
