Palestinian photographer Haitham al Khateeb was injured by a tear gas canister in his leg, Friday, while dozens of participants suffered from teargas inhalation at the Bil'in weekly demonstration, near Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian News Network reports that the demonstration was launched with a slogan of resistance against the closure of al-Aqsa Mosque (the first one since 1967), as well as the increase of Israeli segregative policy, the apartheid wall, and its overall violent stance against the people of Jerusalem.
Locals said Israeli forces were there before the beginning of the non-violent march, waiting for the participants and throwing not far from a hundred teargas canisters, to be followed by sound grenades and rubber-coated bullets, in their attempt to stop the march.
Dozens of soldiers and jeeps reportedly waited, always a little closer to the village, to prevent participants from reaching the area closest to the wall. The soldiers then attacked the demonstrators and chased them in jeeps to arrest them.
A French delegation visiting the village of Bil'in, with Mayor Onglavil Mr. Jean Doris participated in the march, as an expression of solidarity with the Palestinian People and Bil'in village.

Following the incident, IOF soldiers carried out combing operations in Rantis and Shaqba towns. A number of houses were stormed and searched including Shalash’s home.
The village council said that similar break-ins have been frequently carried out by Israeli forces in the town.

The Palestinian Liberation Organization has called on international media to desist from using the term "Temple Mount", saying its use doesn't "adhere to international law".
According to PNN correspondence, "Temple Mount" is the term commonly used in English to describe what, in Arabic, is known as "Haram al-Sharif" (the Noble Sanctuary) -- the compound in the Old City of Jerusalem containing al-Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock.
The compound, states the PLO, "is not a disputed territory and all other terms, therefore, are null and void".
The official statement goes on to say that the compound is "an internationally recognized part of the Occupied State of Palestine" and that Israel's annexation of Jerusalem in the Basic Law on Jerusalem of 1980 is not recognized by the international community.
To the effect that "all legislative and administrative measures and actions taken by Israel, the occupying Power, which have altered or purport to alter the character and the status of the Holy City of Jerusalem, and in particular, the recent 'basic law' on Jerusalem, are null and void" the PLO's request reflects the United Nations Security Council Resolution 478.

The two-year-old child Mimati
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Friday evening a Palestinian journalist while covering clashes in Silwad town, north of Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses said that Palestine TV channel reporter Ali Dar Ali was arrested in Ramallah and taken to an unknown destination while covering the violent clashes that broke out between Israeli forces and local youths in Silwad.
Three youths were injured with rubber bullets during the confrontation, while an elderly man suffered breathing problems due to the heavy tear gas bombs fired by Israeli forces, the sources added.
The clashes erupted at the western entrance to the town when Israeli forces heavily fired a barrage of tear gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at Palestinian youths who responded by throwing stones and empty bottles.
On the other hand, IOF soldiers stormed a Palestinian home in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem and tried to arrest a two-year-old child and his 9-year-old cousin.
Wadi al-Hilweh Information Center confirmed that a large Israeli force broke into the home, claiming that the two children were stoning the soldiers from the rooftop.
Family sources told the center that the child Mimati Yasini, aged just two, had apparently thrown a stone while playing on the rooftop of the home.
"Raise your children not to throw stones! We are here to protect all of you", the Israeli officer claimed, addressing the child’s grandfather.
Israeli forces searched the home and tried to arrest the child for having “colored stones” in his pocket, which turned out be to be "candy".

3O Palestinian citizens on Sunday afternoon sustained critical wounds in a round of clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Silwad town, east of the West Bank city of Ramallah.
A PIC correspondent at the scene said hundreds of Palestinian youngsters were heavily assaulted by the Israeli occupation troops, who have suddenly broke into the city and wreaked havoc on it, triggering a state of panic among women and children.
The Palestinian civilian youths could only react by hurling stones at the well-equipped invading patrols.
A PIC news reporter quoted Palestinian and foreign journalists as reporting that they have directly been targeted by the random barrages of rubber bullets discharged by the Israeli occupation soldiers from a very close distance.
A photographer working for an American agency was injured in the process while another journalist’s camera was broken down so as to block all attempts of an authentic coverage of the scene.
A number of suffocation cases was documented among dozens of Palestinian civilians, all rushed to a nearby health center.
Local medics documented eye and head injuries among the peaceful Palestinian demonstrators who took to Ramallah streets to march in the funeral procession of Palestinian boy Urwa Hamad, shot dead by the IOF on Friday afternoon.

Israel on Saturday prevented Aiden White, the former secretary-general of the international federation of journalists, from visiting the West Bank. White, who works as a director of the ethical journalism network, was invited by the applied studies and research institute in the West Bank to deliver media-related lectures at some universities there.
White said he was supposed to be on a flight to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, but he was told at Heathrow airport in London that the Israeli security authorities refused his entry to the occupied territory.
The British media figure expressed his belief that such an Israeli measure against him was a reaction to the growing British public opposition to Israel's policies in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially that the British parliament voted in favor of a motion calling on the government to recognize Palestine as an independent state.
For its part, the Palestinian syndicate of journalists strongly denounced Israel for barring White from entering the West Bank and described its decision in this regard as unacceptable and a reflection of its colonial policies.
The syndicate urged all concerned parties to condemn such measure and pressure Israel to end its mouth-muzzling policy and its violation of the freedom of the press.
