roadblock” before soldiers noticed him and shot him dead.
The army withheld his body, and moved it an israeli forensic facility, and handed it to Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance on Friday at dawn.
On Thursday evening, soldiers stationed at the Za’tara roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, shot and killed a Palestinian, after alleging he tried to attack soldiers in the area using a fireworks gun.
Eyewitnesses said that the body of the Palestinian, Bashir Same Hananeen, 28, from Marka village near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, was seen lying next to the roadblock.
Soldiers prevented the Palestinians from approaching, and closed the roadblock, forcing the residents to seek alternate routes.
His family strongly denounced his death, and said that the Israeli claims he carried the fireworks gun are just lies and manipulation of the truth, adding that Hananeen is a college teacher, "executed in cold blood."
Earlier on Thursday, soldiers invaded various districts in the occupied West Bank, and kidnapped at least seven Palestinians before taking them to a number of interrogation facilities.
Later in the day, Israeli officers kidnapped Mohammad Abu Khdeir, at the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv as he was flying back from Egypt.
An Israeli court ordered him under interrogation until November 13, and prevented him from seeing his lawyer. His family said he works for the Jerusalem daily newspaper and that the soldiers broke into their home and violently searched it.

Eyewitnesses said ambulances rushed to the area as Israeli forces shut down the checkpoint.
Al-Atrash's father, Fuad, said "they stopped my two sons at the checkpoint and they were waiting to be checked. Then the soldiers came to the car and opened the door, when my son tried to get out they shot him."
The brother was arrested, he added.
Hours earlier, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man at the Zaatara checkpoint in southern Nablus, claiming that he shot at soldiers using an air pistol.
Israeli army kills Palestinian youth at Zaatara checkpoint
Israeli military forces on Thursday evening shot and killed a 20-year-old man from Nablus at the Zaatara checkpoint in the south of the northern West Bank city, claiming he shot at Israeli soldiers using an air pistol. A spokeswoman for the Israeli army said that the man was carrying "an improvised weapon" and firing it repeatedly, and that the soldiers shot him "to prevent causalities."
The WALLA website quoted sources in the army as saying that none of the soldiers was injured and that the young man died on the spot after being shot by soldiers.
Eyewitnesses said that directly following the shooting, a large number of Israeli soldiers gathered at the checkpoint and closed it, then announced the area a closed military zone.
They added that the ambulances rushed to the scene, where the explosives experts, policemen and soldiers started examining the body of the martyr.
The witnesses noted that the occupation forces opened minor roads for Palestinian vehicles.

Khaled Abu Bakra (Jom’a) 35
Bodies Of Two Fighters Still Burried Under Rubble
After three long days of search, the body of slain fighter, Khaled Abu Bakra, was located, on Saturday evening under the rubble of tunnel bombarded by the Israeli army on the border near Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip Ashraf Al-Qodra stated that various governmental and civil institutions, residents and the Red Cross participated in the search until locating the body of the fighter.
The severely mutilated body of Abu Bakra was moved to the Nasser Governmental Hospital.
Al-Qodra added that the search campaign faced numerous obstacles, mainly due to toxic shells fired by the army at the tunnels.
He said the search had to be stopped as Israel allowed rescue teams to search for a limited time, and that the bodies of Mohammad Daoud and Mohammad Al-Qassas, are still buried under the rubble of the tunnels that is 18-20 meters deep underground.
Medical sources in Gaza said that the search would resume in an attempt to locate the two bodies.
Three days ago, Israeli military vehicles and tanks invaded the border area east of Khan Younis, to destroy the tunnel, that was uncovered a month ago, killed the three fighters, including two field leaders of the A-Qassam Brigades of Hamas.
As several armored vehicles and dozens of soldiers invaded the border area, on Thursday at night, to destroy the tunnel, armed resistance in Gaza opened fire at the invading soldiers and fired several mortars, wounding five Israeli soldiers, one seriously.
Israel said that the tunnel its soldiers discover is 2.5 kilometers (1.5 Miles) in length extending along the Gaza border after fighters of the Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, dug it through the sandy soil of the area and strengthened it with concrete.
The tunnel extended all the way reaching a military base, close to the Ein Hashlosha Kibbutz, across the border, meant to be used in carrying out attacks and to attempt the abduction of Israeli soldiers to trade them with Palestinian political prisoners held by Israel.
Israel said that explosives were located and defused in the tunnel, and that the digging of the tunnel with this magnitude would have needed at least a month to dig.

Four Palestinians have been killed and several Israeli soldiers have been wounded in clashes near the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, reports say.
Israeli regime forces launched an attack on an area near the fence in the city of Khan Younis, located south of Gaza late on Thursday. Five Israeli soldiers were injured in the clashes. In a similar incident on Thursday, a Palestinian man was killed in Khan Younis after a number of Israeli tanks crossed the separation fence into the coastal enclave. Gaza has been under Israeli siege since 2007. |
The Israeli military launches frequent attacks on the besieged Palestinian territory, claiming the raids are being conducted for ‘defensive purposes.’ However, disproportionate force is always used, in violation of international law, and civilians are often killed or injured.
In November 2012, Israeli military forces carried out the so-called Operation Pillar of Defense I on Gaza. Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, lost their lives and about 1,200 others were injured during the eight-day war.
The 1.7 million Palestinians of the Gaza Strip are living in what is called the world’s largest open-air prison as Israel retains full control of the airspace, territorial waters, and border crossings of the territory.
5 soldiers injured in Gaza border incident
Golani Brigade soldiers including one officer hit when bomb goes off near border fence; one in serious condition. In response IDF tank fire kills Hamas terrorist; Gaza tunnel bombed
An IDF force operating on both sides of the Gaza border fence was hit after a bomb went off on Thursday night. One soldier was seriously injured, another moderately injured and three sustained light wounds.
It was initially believed the troops – Golani Brigade combatants backed by Engineering Corps soldiers – were hit by mortar fire but it was later revealed that they were hit by an explosive device. The five men, including one officer, were taken to the Soroka Medical Center in Beerheba. The troops were at the scene as part of the efforts to uncover additional parts of an underground terror tunnel that was located in the area a month ago.
The force returned fire. Palestinian sources reported that an IDF tank opened fired at a terror cell belonging to Hamas' armed wing - the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, which was situated east of the city of Khan Younis in south Gaza.
The Palestinians further reported that during exchanges of fire between terrorists and IDF forces near the city of Abasan in south Gaza, a Palestinian terrorist was killed and another was wounded, apparently from IDF tank fire. The Palestinians identified the terrorist who was killed as Rabiya Barakeh, 21. The IDF later bombed a tunnel in the southern Strip.
According to the Palestinians, the incident followed the limited entry of IDF forces into Gaza, near the border fence, but Israeli officials said the forces operated beyond the security fence but still within Israeli territory.
The IDF recently uncovered in the Abasan area a 1.5-kilometer long tunnel that stretched from Gaza to the fields of Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha. The tunnel was meant to facilitate a complex terror attack involving an assault on soldiers or civilians.
Earlier this week the rocket fire on south Israel resumed after nearly a month of calm. Two rockets were fired from the Strip in the early hours of Monday morning. One was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system. The IDF retaliated a few hours later by attacking rocket-launching pads in north Gaza.
Despite protests, IDF security details for the 13 Gaza-vicinity communities were officially terminated on Thursday morning, as soldiers left their posts and turned over authority to the local residents.
Residents of Netiv Ha'asara demonstrated against the move on Wednesday, but on Thursday held an emotional farewell ceremony for the departing soldiers.

The Palestinian Government praised the resistance's reaction to the Israeli incursion into southern Gaza Strip, stressing its role in protecting the Palestinian people from any aggression on Gaza. "Al-Qassam's facing of the Israeli occupation incursion proves the resistance movements ready to defend the Palestinian people in Gaza, and is a blow to those saying the resistance in Gaza is off duty; the resistance's preparing, training and tunneling have not stopped," al-Ghussain said.
The spokesman reassured Palestinian people that that 'the situation on the ground is under control, notwithstanding the growing atmosphere of plotting against the Gaza Strip,"
