Jerusalem Municipality teams on Monday raided the town of Silwan south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and distributed several administrative demolition orders for residential and commercial installations. Wadi Hilweh Information Center said in a statement that the Israeli municipal teams have distributed three administrative demolition orders against Palestinian buildings, under the pretext of being built without permit.
It said that the municipal teams, accompanied by the occupation police, raided Silwan and handed over an administrative demolition order for a barber shop established on area of 25 square meters and a shop selling meat built on an area of about 25 square meters in the Shaheed Samer Sarhan Street in the town.
The Jerusalemite center added that the municipal teams raided a house belonging to the Abbasi family in Ain Louza neighborhood, and ordered its owner to demolish a residential room he has recently built on an area of about nine meters.
The Information Center also stated that the Israeli police and army arrested in one day 115 Jerusalemite citizens after raiding their homes and their shops.
According to the center, 40 Jerusalemites were arrested from Shuafat refugee camp and Beit Hanina, northeast of Jerusalem, after a raid on their homes and shops.
An eyewitness reported that a large Israeli force raided the Manara building in Tel al-Foul area in Beit Hanina, and arrested 25 civilians and took them to the Mascoubiya detention center west of Jerusalem for interrogation.
The Manara building was built in 2003 and has 25 apartments inhabited by about 250 Palestinians.

Clashes erupted near the Fawwar refugee camp south of al-Khalil on Monday, after Israeli settlers and soldiers attacked Palestinian civilians. Eyewitnesses told PIC that the settlers, guarded by the occupation forces, raided the entrance to the camp and started throwing stones at the citizens, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes during which a number of Palestinians suffered suffocation.
The witnesses added that more than 40 Israeli military vehicles were deployed near the camp and on the street leading to the settlement of Njihut, built on Palestinian citizens' lands south of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile, an Israeli settler from Susia settlement released on Tuesday his dogs to attack the residents and farmers from Khirbet al-Nabi east of Yatta in al-Khalil.
According to Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the National Committee against the Wall and the Settlements, this settler has been continuously terrorizing the citizens and the children and destroying their crops.

Local sources in occupied East Jerusalem have reported [Tuesday morning June 18] that a number of extremist Israeli settlers punctured tires of 28 Palestinian cars in Abu Gosh area in the city.

A 75-year-old Palestinian woman has filed a complaint with Israeli police after being assaulted by three Israelis as she waited for a bus in West Jerusalem on Sunday, her son told Ma'an.
Fathiyeh Ajaj was waiting for a bus in Deir Yassin, now known as Givat Shaul, after a hospital appointment when she was pushed to the floor by three Israelis, who the son described as settlers.
They tried to remove her hijab -- the Muslim headscarf-- and tore her clothes, the son said.
"My mother fainted and the bus driver saw her, rushing to rescue her," he told Ma'an.
Ajaj filed the complaint at the Jabal Mukabir police station, he added.
The report follows the filing of two separate assault charges against an Israeli man after he attacked two Palestinian women as they tried to buy a ticket for the Jerusalem Light Rail.
The UN has criticized Israel for a lack of adequate law enforcement against Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, which is on the rise.
In 2012, one Palestinian was killed and approximately 1,300 injured by Israeli settlers or security forces in incidents directly or indirectly related to settlements, including demonstrations, the UN says.

Local sources have reported that a number of settlers of Karmiel settlement, assaulted several Palestinian shepherds from Um Al-Kheir village, before the army invaded it.
The sources added that an elderly man, identified a Suleiman Eid Al-Hathaleen, 75, was kidnapped by the invading soldiers.
Furthermore, a number of settlers attacked dozens of local shepherds, and prevented them from entering grazing lands that belong to the village.
The settlers have escalated their attacks against the villagers in Um Al-Kheir as they are trying to expand their settlement on nearly 500 Dunams (123.5 Acres) of Palestinian lands in the area.

Israeli warplanes intensified flights over the Gaza Strip on Sunday morning. A field observer said that F16s flew over all areas of the coastal enclave spreading fears among the population.

Israeli Occupation Forces have imposed military restrictions last night in Dura city and its environs searching for wanted persons who opened fire at Njhot settlement built on Palestinian lands. IOF soldiers stormed Dura where they imposed a curfew on large parts of the city and closed all entrances to its surrounding villages.
The Israeli patrols roamed most of the city's villages and towns. Arrests were reported in Fawwar refugee camp and Beit Awwa town.
The Israeli occupation authorities informed the PA of their intention to impose a curfew in Dura city, and consequently the PA forces disappeared from the scene.

A Palestinian man was wounded on Friday night in Wadi Salaqa to the east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza Strip at the hands of Israeli occupation forces (IOF). Palestinian security sources told the PIC reporter that Omar Abu Mihareb, 48, was hit with a bullet in his right thigh and was taken to hospital.
Medical sources said that Abu Mihareb was in stable condition, adding that the victim was inside his home opposite the IOF Kissufim outpost when he was hit with the bullet.

Israeli military vehicles, stationed across the border with Gaza, opened fire at Palestinian farmers and homes in Abasan Al-Kabeera town, east of the southern West Bank district of Khan Younis.
Eyewitnesses have reported the soldiers, stationed on the eastern border of Abasan, fired several rounds of live ammunition in an attempt to force the residents out of their lands, close to the border.
The farmers left lands, and their agricultural equipment, as they ran for their lives.

Jewish settlers attacked two Jerusalemites, including a 60-year-old woman and a young man, while walking opposite the Maghareba gate in Silwan. Majd Halisy said on Wednesday that six settlers attacked his uncle’s wife Hayam Halisy, 60, and a young man using pepper guns and sharp tools.
He said that the settlers, 17 to 30 years in age, also used a knife in attacking the young man.
In another incident, Halisy said that a group of four settlers broke into his home and that of his cousin in Silwan and when he shouted at them they ran away. He added that he tried to follow them but he saw them chase another Jerusalemite with knives in their hands.

Several armored Israeli military jeeps invaded the village of Orif, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped nine Palestinians.
Local sources have reported that the soldiers broke into dozens of homes, and searched them, causing property damage, before kidnapping the nine residents.

Security sources said that more than nine buses broke into Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, and confrontations erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces that fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas canisters toward the residents, injuring three of them. Their injuries were described as slight.

Hadayda was moved to the Gaza European Hospital, and was immediately admitted to surgery before being moved to the Intensive Care Unit.
