An Israeli special police unit broke early Saturday into a residence in Silwan, an Arab East Jerusalem neighborhood, and attacked its residents as they searched for a member of the family to arrest him, according to the home owner Yasin Silwadi. He said that he and his family were awakened at around 2:30 a.m. when members of the force broke the front door to his house terrorizing his wife and three children.
He said the force was looking for his brother, Adel, to arrest him but even though he told them that he does not live with them, the force continued to search the house for him.
The force attacked Silwadi’s mentally sick brother, Yehya, tied his hands, took him to the roof of the house and assaulted him with their gun butts and kicked him around even though they knew he was not normal causing him injury in the face and serious bruises to his right leg.

The forces then searched the house looking for Adel even though Yassin told him that his brother no longer stays with him; they also put up the ladders and went to look on the roof of the house.
Yassin added that the forces assaulted and severely beat his brother Yehya who is psychologically ill. Yassin said that he informed them that his brother is sick and told them that he has documents from the hospital that proves his illness but the police officer did not care and mentioned that he already knows that, and still managed to assault him. They took him to the roof and tied his hands behind his back and beat him using their guns and legs. Yehya was screaming and was injured with a cut in his face and several bruises in his right leg.
Yassin said: “the masked forces tried to break into my children’s room but I asked them to remove their masks before going in, and one of them went in the room without a mask and searched my children’s clothes and beds using the knife that is placed in the front part of his gun.”
He noted that they did not leave the house until searching all its contents and then asked Yassin to provide them with his brother’s phone number but he refused.

He said that the two girls were passing through the Jewish Quarter of the Old City when they were punched in the face.
Abu Irmeleh filed a complaint to the Israeli police, who subsequently began an investigation. The attack was caught on camera.
Another witness, Abu Jamal said that he saw the two girls near the Chain Gate crying and visibly frightened. He asked them why they were crying and they said that they had been attacked by settlers.

The laborers tried to cross through a gap in a fenced area near Israel's separation wall in Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem.
The workers suffered bruising after being assaulted by Israeli forces in the area.
Othman Salah, a member of Dar Salah village council, said Palestinian workers are exposed to daily assaults and the threat of arrest by Israeli forces.

Clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters in the occupied East al-Quds (Jerusalem) on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the second Intifada.
Local sources in al-Quds said that clashes broke out on Friday after Israeli troops attacked a group of Palestinians in the Old City, who were protesting against the increased incursions of settlers to the al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of Israeli police. The lawyer of the prisoners' society, Mufid al-Haj, said that at least 11 Jerusalemites were arrested and detained inside Israeli interrogation centers. Hebrew-language media sources reported that protestors hurled stones in different areas in al-Quds, including al-Issawiyeh and Bab al-Amoud. Three Israeli policemen were slightly injured and were treated on field, the sources claimed. The same sources also reported that a Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated bullet to his neck and was transferred by an Israeli ambulance to one of the hospitals in al-Quds for treatment. Similar protests were also held in the West Bank cities of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus and al-Khalil (Hebron). 7 Palestinians injured in Ramallah
Seven Palestinians were injured Friday evening, during clashes with Israeli forces in Jalzoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
Medical sources said that seven Palestinians were shot with live bullets during clashes that erupted in the camp. One of them was hit with a rubber-coated bullet to his head.
All wounded Palestinians were taken to Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Medics said that two Palestinians were hit by rubber-coated bullets, adding that one of them were transferred to a hospital, while the other was treated on field.
Israeli forces also attacked journalists in the village by firing tear gas canisters and rubber-coated bullets.

Dozens of Palestinian residents and international activists participated in a march in Nabi Saleh village on the 13th anniversary of the second intifada.
The participants raised Palestinian flags, chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation and its brutal practices against the land and Palestinian residents.
They also called for a national unity to defend al-Aqsa mosque and East Jerusalem as the capital of future Palestine.

It's worth mentioning that the second Palestinian intifada (Palestinian uprising against Israel) broke out on September 28, 2000, after a visit by then Israeli opposition leader, Ariel Sharon, to the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Three of the wounded have been shot by live rounds, and suffered moderate injuries, while 12 were mildly injured by rubber-coated metal bullets.
Eight more Palestinians were injured during clashes that took place north of Halhoul city, and were moved to a local hospital. One of the wounded was shot by a live round resulting in a moderate injury.
Red Crescent medics also provided several residents with the needed treatment after they suffocated due to the effects of teargas inhalation.
Local sources said that dozens of Palestinian youths hurled stones and empty bottles at the illegal settlement outpost of Beit Romano, in the center of Hebron.
Soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, concussion grenades and gas bombs leading to a number of injuries, the Maan News Agency has reported.
Furthermore, a number of soldiers attacked a Palestinian man as he was working in his land, near the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, and forced him to leave his land after threatening to shoot him.

The father said that his daughters, Ghada and Thikra Abu Rmeila, were heading to school using the same path they take every day, before a number of settlers attacked and punched them, and used foul language, the Palestinian News & Info Agency WAFA has reported.

Also on Friday, soldiers attacked the weekly protests in the nearby villages of Ni’lin and Nabi Saleh.
Soldiers used teargas and chemical water that generate bad smell to attack residents and their supporters before leaving the village of Al Nabi Saleh.
Moreover, dozens of soldiers invaded Nabi Saleh and fired tear gas inside residents’ homes casing many women and children to suffer effects of tear gas inhalation as well.
Elsewhere at al Ma’sara village, near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, soldiers stopped the weekly anti wall protest at the entrance of the village.
Soldiers forced people back into the village using rifle butts and batons to bush people back, no injuries were reported.

The Israeli police arrested more than 15 young men from different area in Jerusalem especially Ras Al-Amoud, Nablus Street, Lions Gate and Shu’fat refugee camp.
Prisoner’s club lawyer, Mufeed Al-Hajj, said that among the detainees were: 31-year old Mohammad Salim, Isam Hasan Yousef, Dia’ Hasan Yousef, Hasan Yousef, 17-year old Firas Karkoor, 16-year old Mohammad Karkoor, 18-year old Mohammad Samman and 25-year old Ma’moon Dweik.
Hasan Yousef’s family explained in a phone call that the Israeli intelligence and Special Forces raided their home on Friday afternoon as they were preparing for their daughter’s wedding and arrested the bride’s brother, Isam, and one of her relatives, Mohammad Salim, and her father was detained until her other brother Dia’ comes back.
The family added that the intelligence waited at the entrance of Bab Hutta neighbourhood for Dia’ and upon arrival along with his sister (the bride), he was arrested and his father was released.

The PIC reporter said that Mohammed Zumra, 23, was hit with a live bullet in his chest and was admitted to hospital for urgent surgery while Mohammed Samiya, 19, was hit with another live bullet in his thigh.
He added that other young men were hit with metal bullets including one in the head.

Resident Ashraf Abu Da’aas, stated that approximately 400 settlers organized provocative marches in the Arab neighborhoods of Saraya, Al-Hakary, and Al-Qarmy, and were dancing and chanting provocative chants against the Arabs and Palestinians, in addition to chanting “Jerusalem is ours”.
Da’aas added that dozens of residents stopped the settlers and prevented them from conducting their provocative procession in their neighborhood, before dozens of Israeli soldiers and police officers arrived at the scene, and attacked the Palestinians.
Furthermore, Da’aas said that the Police eventually stopped the settlers’ procession of before some of them headed to settlement outposts in the city, while others went to the Al-Boraq Wall.

She added that the Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades toward the school, causing tension among students. She said, "they withdrew later on."
The school's administration tried to prevent the soldiers from entering the school but they were threatened to be arrested if they did not give them the names of the students who threw stones on the soldiers, according to witnesses.
The Israeli soldiers walked to the Wadi Street, put barricades and spread foot patrol soldiers in the area to search the citizens, locals said.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) advanced in central Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning amidst heavy firing. Local sources said that the soldiers escorted six huge bulldozers that went on the rampage in cultivated land east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
They noted that reconnaissance planes were flying all the time of the incursion over the targeted area.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that Palestinian resistance fighters blasted an explosive device in one of the bulldozers, adding that it scored a direct hit.

Local sources reported Monday [September 23 2013] that a group of extremist Israeli settlers set ablaze more than 350 Palestinian olive trees that belong to villagers of Sorra and Tal villages, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Settlers also harvested Palestinian orchards near Jenin.
