Professor Hillel Vice, a university lecturer at the Israeli Bar-IIan University, sparked a public outrage after he launched calls for wiping out the Palestinian people. Vice wrote on his Facebook page: “The liquidation of the Palestinian people is an unavoidable undertaking”, and “The Arab movements exist to kill and spread insanity.”
The Israeli Jerusalem Online newspaper on Monday quoted Vice, who did not express any regret, as claiming: “The fact that Abu Mazen (PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas) called us murderers on the UN General Assembly stage stirred up my wrath.”
Vice, currently serving as the chairman of the so-called Friends of the Temple, dubbed the Palestinian people as some insignificant minority.
“You are not a nation. You are an insignificant minority, the faster you leave Israel willingly, the better it will be for you,” Vice’s Facebook statement read verbatim.

Dozens of soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, the village of Budrus, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, broke into several homes, took pictures of them, and attacked a local reporter. The army also confiscated agricultural machinery in West Bank’s Northern Plains.
The army alleged it was conducting a “census” in the area, and did not provide any details, especially since the soldiers took pictures of homes and yards, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting the ID cards, and took personal information regarding the families.
Local sources said the soldiers were also drawing structural maps detailing the insides of the homes, and were asking the families various questions, including the number of persons living in each home.
The sources added that the soldiers assaulted Wattan TV cameraman, Mohammad Awad, by kicking and hitting him with their rifles, and interrogated him after forcing him out of his home.
The army frequently invades Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, and conducts a census of the population, homes and property.
In addition, soldiers invaded Wadi Ebzeeq area of the West Bank’s Northern Plains, and confiscated three agricultural machinery.
Head of the Wadi al-Maleh and Bedouin Areas, Aref Daraghma, said the soldiers confiscated machinery belonging to residents Hussein Turkman, Mohammad Ali Nasrallah and Mousa Nasrallah Hroub.
On Monday, several Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation during clashes with Israeli soldiers invading the Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem.
The clashes took place at the western entrance of the town, and the army fired gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Soldiers then advanced to the center of the town, and blocked various roads, before firing gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing anxiety attacks among several Palestinians, mainly the children.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday and Monday rounded up dozens of Palestinian citizens, extended the prison-terms of five Jerusalemites, and sentenced six others to administrative detention. The IOF nabbed a 60-year-old elderly civilian, Abdul Qader Awad, along with his 21-year-old son, Ihab, after having stormed their family home at the Fawar refugee camp, in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil, and ransacked it.
A Palestinian worker, identified as Muhannad Youssef, was rushed to hospital so as to be urgently treated for the critical wounds and fractures he sustained after he was physically assaulted by the IOF troops in 1948 occupied Palestine.
The IOF further apprehended two Palestinian youngsters from Bethlehem after having raided their family homes and rummaged through them.
Eye-witnesses said the Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted al-Doheisha refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, among many other neighborhoods, and targeted the civilian natives with heavy barrages of tear gas and rubber bullets.
Palestinian youngster Maher Ghuneim, 24, and Saber al-Amour, 20, were both captured by the IOF and dragged to an unidentified destination in the process.
In another development, lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoner Society, Mufeed al-Haj, said the Israeli Magistrate’s Court extended the prison terms of five Jerusalemite captives, including a young lady.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military Ofer court sentenced six more Palestinian detainees to varying administrative prison-terms, for periods ranging from three to six months.
A recent report released by the Prisoner Society documented the abduction of 225 Palestinian citizens, including two women, in a period of 20 days during the month of October.
Al-Khalil hit a record high of 70 captives, compared to 46 from Occupied Jerusalem, 24 from Bethlehem, 19 from Nablus, and 17 from Ramallah and el-Bireh.
The campaign further culminated in the arrest of 11 Palestinian civilians from Jenin, 11 from Tubas, 10 from Salfit, nine from Qalqiliya, and five from Jericho.
The two female captives were identified as Ihasan al-Dababsa, from al-Khalil, and Amal Khalaf, from Occupied Jerusalem.

Scores of Palestinian civilians on Sunday sustained wounds while several others were nabbed in the wave of violent clashes that flared up between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and groups of Palestinian unarmed youths across the West Bank. Eye-witnesses in Salfit said the Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the city and targeted the Palestinian unarmed youths with heavy barrages of tear gas canisters and sound bombs, leading to suffocation cases among dozens of Palestinian citizens.
Meanwhile, four Palestinian citizens were rounded up by the IOF in Bethlehem city, two among whom were unidentified Hamas leaders.
Two more Hamas affiliates were among eight citizens captured by the IOF in al-Khalil. The arrests were carried out shortly after the IOF broke into Palestinians’ family homes in the city and discharged random spates of rubber bullets, sound bombs and tear gas grenades.
By-standers at the scene said the IOF sealed off all the main entrances to Beit Awa and the nearby villages moments before they intensified their presence in the area and pitched makeshift roadblocks around a nearby military watchtower.
A PIC correspondent further reported the outburst of a flood of combing operations launched in such a hasty and panic-stricken manner on Palestinians’ cultivated lands.
Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli occupation army came down heavily on a group of Palestinian activists and citizens who partook in a peaceful demo staged in protest at Israel’s arbitrary confiscation of Palestinian lands, covering an overall area of about 1,000 m2, in Sourif town, in al-Khalil.
The seizure cropped up two months ago in favor of Israeli illegal settlement expansion, denying Palestinians the right to retrieve the lands and resume their crop growing with the advent of the olive season, Palestinian anti-settlement activist Youssef Abu Maria reported on Saturday.
The invading IOF troops physically assaulted member of the Palestinian Agricultural Ministry personnel, Firas Awadh, and targeted other non-violent demonstrators with tear gas canisters.
Meanwhile, overnight on Saturday, the IOF in armored military jeeps stormed Yabad, Kfirt, and Zababda towns, south of Jenin.
The invading Israeli occupation troops also raked through the neighborhoods of Jenin city and provocatively interrogated Palestinian natives before they ultimately stationed in al-Maloul neighborhood.
Ambushes and flying checkpoints had randomly been pitched across Kfirt and Zababda towns in the process.

Palestinian guards of al-Aqsa Mosque foiled Saturday morning two settlers’ attempt to infiltrate into the Mosque via Asbat gate. A PIC reporter quoted local sources as stating that two settlers dressed as Arabs tried to enter al-Aqsa Mosque via Asbat gate. They were later discovered by the Mosque guards and handed over to Israeli police stationed at the gate.
On the other hand, Hamas Movement said that PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s calls for intensifying Palestinian presence in al-Aqsa Mosque ran contrary to his security forces’ practice of quelling pro-Aqsa demos in the West Bank.
Spokesman for the Movement Sami Abu Zuhri said PA security forces are preoccupied in suppressing marches in support of al-Aqsa Mosque instead of defending the holy place from Israeli settlers’ attacks.
On Friday, violent clashes broke out overnight throughout the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. Two Israeli border guards were injured during the clashes by fireworks, while dozens of Jerusalemite youths suffered rubber bullets injuries and breathing problems after inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli police.

Israeli soldiers again attacked weekly peaceful marches which took place in several Palestinian villages and towns, across the occupied West Bank.
PNN reports that, during Friday's weekly demonstration in Bil'in, near Ramallah, two participants were injured as dozens of others suffered from teargas inhalation, according to local sources.
See original article for extensive photos. 26-year-old Fedaa Ataya was injured in her leg by an Israeli tear gas canister while Rema Jauabra 28, was injured by sound grenades, also in her leg. Dozens more suffered from from tear gas inhalation.
The demonstration was launched with slogans against Israel's continued policy of land theft, the apartheid wall and in support of resistance against the illegal occupation.
Local sources report that Israeli forces threw dozen of dozen tear gas canisters, followed by sound grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets, in an attempt to stop the march. The demonstration also aimed to express popular dissent aginst the Israel's continuous persecution during the olive harvesting season as both settlers and soldiers, this week, prevented Palestinians from entering their lands, set olives on fire and confiscated acres of farmland all over the West Bank, with the aim of further settlement expansion.
To the south of Bethlehem, in Almaasara, the weekly demonstration against the wall and settlements began at the center of the village and moved towards the entrance, which was blocked by a large number of Israeli soldiers.
As the protesters neared the entrance, the soldiers launched a massive tear gas and sound bomb attack to push demonstrators back, yet a few individuals kept pushing until they reached route 60, which is the main road connecting settlements in the area. Demonstrators blocked the road for an hour before the soldiers forced it open.
Popular resistance committees in the area stated that they will not stop until they free their village and reclaim the land which was stolen from them.
Meanwhile, in the village of Kufr Qadoum, a number of Palestinians required medical treatment, also due to tear gas fired in an attempt by Israeli forces to disperse protests.
As protesters approached a road which had been previously closed, Israeli forces attacked them with tear gas, rubber-coated metal bullets and sewage water.
The coordinator of the rally stressed that the Kufr Qaddoum march had brought victory to al-Aqsa Mosque, which is being subjected to repeated brutal aggression by both Israeli settlers and soldiers alike.
He noted that the occupation deliberately sprayed houses with waste water, now, instead of digging up the road and throwing dirt on people's homes.
Despite recent denunciations against the PA, by Ramallah-based Hamas leader Saed Abu Bahaa, for their part in Israel's continued attacks on al-Aqsa, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, along with PM Rami Hamdallah and Hamas chief Khaled Mashal, is urging Palestinians to defend the mosque.

On Saturday, WAFA reports that several Palestinians in the town of Ya‘bad, to the west of Jenin also suffered from excessive tear gas inhalation during an Israeli army raid on the town, according to reports by security sources.
Israeli forces raided the town, during the early dawn hours, amid a barrage of tear gas and acoustic canisters fired toward residents.
Forces also set up a flying military checkpoint in the neighborhood of al-Malool, where they routinely stopped passing vehicles and checking identity cards. (Note that Palestinian license plates are different in appearance to those of Israeli Jews, so as to make vehicles more easily identifiable. Roads are segregated, as well.)
Sources said that forces used loud speakers to further threaten residents with uprooting olive trees planted adjacent to the Dotan Israeli military camp, under the pretext that angered Palestinians were throwing stones at army vehicles.

A number of fanatic Israeli settlers attacked, on Friday evening, a young Palestinian man from Jerusalem, and attempted to strangle him to death, while working at the Rimonim Shalom Hotel, in west Jerusalem.
His father said Mohammad was working when the settlers started insulting and cussing at him “for being an Arab," before one of them struck him with an iron bat, while the rest were beating on him and attempted to strangle him by wrapping a rope around his neck.
The father added that some persons heard the screams of Mohammad in the eight floor, before hotel security rushed to the scene and managed to remove the assailants.
“My son was moved to Shaare Zedek nearby hospital, the doctors said he suffered concussion, various bruises and cuts,” the father said, “This is not just an attack; this is an attempted murder by a group of extremist racists.”
