IOF fires teargas to disperse protesters in Jenin village
Picture
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired teargas canisters at protesters in Zabuba village, west of Jenin, causing breathing problems for 15 civilians including a lady.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers in army jeeps provocatively raided the village on Tuesday triggering confrontations with its inhabitants.

They said that Basma Saleh was treated for severe breathing difficulty along with her children after the IOF fired a teargas bomb inside her home.

They said that a number of other citizens were treated for suffocation in the village’s alleys and streets.

Meanwhile, other IOF patrols stormed the nearby Rummane village, locals said, adding that the soldiers stationed near the UNRWA school in the village and field interrogated a number of passing by citizens.

Soldiers Invade Eastern Areas In Rafah, Khan Younis
Picture
Israeli Tank Invading Gaza (file)

Media sources in Gaza has reported that five Israeli military vehicles carried out, on Tuesday morning, a limited invasion into Palestinian lands east of the southern Gaza Strip districts of Rafah and Khan Younis.

The sources said the vehicles came from Karem Abu Salem military base, across the border, and advanced a short distance into the farmlands, while several tanks and armored vehicles were stationed close to the border fence.

The soldiers then started maintenance work on the Abu Reeda military gate, southeast of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis.

Israel recently started operations to replace a number of military gates of the border fence with Gaza, largely used for limited invasions into Palestinians lands.

Scores Suffer Effects Of Teargas Inhalation Near Hebron
Picture
Palestinian medical sources have reported that dozens of residents suffered the effects of teargas inhalation after several Israeli military vehicles invaded the Safa area, north of Beit Ummar town and Hebron city.

Mohammad Awad, Spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar, said that Israeli soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at local youth who hurled stones at the invading forces.

Awad added that local medics provided treatment to the wounded, and that the soldiers chased scores of youngsters into Palestinian agricultural lands, but were unable to kidnap any of them.

The army frequently invades the Safa area, an issue which leads to ongoing confrontations and clashes, while extremist settler groups subject residents and Palestinian orchards to frequent attacks, especially since some Palestinian homes are nearly around 30 meters away from Gush Etzion.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police kidnapped three Palestinian children in the yards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, eyewitnesses said.

They added that the children, 10-11 years of age, have been identified as Tawfiq Najeeb, Zakariyya al-Bakry, and Mustafa Abu Sneina.

Liquid Used in Alleged West Bank "Acid Attack" Determined to be Vinegar
Picture
The Jerusalem Post has reported that the acid thrown by a Palestinian on six Israelis in the occupied West Bank, Friday, was actually vinegar, according to Channel 2.

The victims were reportedly taken to Hadassah University Medical Center with light injuries and released from the hospital the next day.

A Palestinian man from Nahhalin town, near Bethlehem, was shot and seriously injured by Israeli settler fire, after soldiers alleged that he had sprayed an Israeli settler with acid.

The indiscriminate nature of attacks on Palestinian civilians by Israeli forces and illegal settlers is consistent with colonial Israeli repression and is widely documented.

IOF opens fire at Palestinian homes in Gaza
Picture
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened machine-gun fire Tuesday morning at Palestinian homes in southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the IOF soldiers stationed at the border fence east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza opened heavy fire at the citizens’ homes in Khuzaa town.

The shooting attack coincided with unusual movements of Israeli troops on the southern border areas and extensive flight of pilotless planes.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement reached on August 26 between Palestinian resistance and Israeli occupation authorities under Egyptian auspices have notably increased.

Arrests, demolition notifications reported in Bethlehem
Picture
Three Palestinian young men were nabbed Monday evening in Tekoa town to the east of Bethlehem, while four citizens were notified to halt construction in their homes.

The three detainees were earlier summoned for investigation in Gush Etzion settlement, in southern Bethlehem, before being arrested.

Also in Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed overnight Tekoa town and handed over four Palestinians notifications to halt construction in their homes under the pretext of lack of construction permits.

Earlier, violent clashes erupted at the entrance to Nabi Saleh town, north of Ramallah, between Israeli forces and dozens of local residents who threw stones at the soldiers.

In their turn, Israeli forces heavily fired tear gas bombs, rubber and live bullets at the protesters.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces tightened military restrictions at Za’atra checkpoint on Monday evening, which led to a traffic jam. Searches were carried out at the checkpoint.

In Nablus, a university student was nabbed while passing through Hawara checkpoint. The detainee was taken to an unknown detention center.

IOF kidnaps six Palestinians as “Death to Arabs” chants sweep al-Khalil
Picture
At least six Palestinian citizens were rounded up by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday while another civilian sustained critical wounds throughout a round of abrupt assaults launched across al-Khalil province.

Local sources said the IOF soldiers stormed Wadi al-Herya neighborhood via more than seven military jeeps and raided Palestinian family homes.

Heavy barrages of tear gas canisters have reportedly been unleashed in the process, resulting in injuries suffered by the young man Omar Amr.

Omar’s brother along with youngster Majed al-Himouni and another family member of Omar’s were kidnapped by the IOF in the process.

Sources based in al-Tabaka village, south of Dura town in al-Khalil province, said the IOF troops broke into Palestinian civilians’ homes and nabbed the ex-prisoner Mahmoud Hakam al-Haribat along with his peer Riadh Abu Ras. Both captives were dragged to an unidentified destination.

Earlier, overnight Monday the IOF apprehended a 20-year-old university student from al-Khalil at the Container checkpoint, pitched east of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Local press said the Israeli occupation patrols deployed at the checkpoint stopped Palestinian vehicles and scoured them before dragging the aforementioned youth, identified as Salah Ahmad Khalil al-Awawda, to an unknown location.

The IOF soldiers have stepped up arbitrary mass-abduction campaigns in the area over the past couple of weeks.

Earlier, on Monday evening the Israeli occupation army cordoned off al-Khalil’s Yatta town and closed the main road to Terka in an attempt to set the stage for settler vandalism in the area.

Coordinator for the anti-settlement committee in Yatta, Rateb al-Jabour, said a flock of Israeli extremist settlers, from the Susia and Maoun settlements, took to Street 60 and yelled racist and anti-Arab mottos inciting violence against Palestinians and Arabs.

Five Palestinians Injured In Hebron, One Kidnapped
Picture
Media sources in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, have reported that dozens of soldiers invaded the city, and nearby communities, shot and wounded one Palestinian, and kidnapped at least five others.

The sources said more than seven armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Wadi al-Harya area, before the soldiers fired concussion grenades and gas bombs at a number of homes.

One Palestinian, identified as ‘Omar ‘Amro, was shot and injured, before the soldiers also kidnapped his brother ‘Ammar.

Soldiers also invaded and ransacked a number of homes, near al-Ansar mosque in the Salam Street, and kidnapped Majed al-Haimouni and another member of his family.

In addition, several military vehicles invaded the at-Tabaqa village south of Doura town near Hebron, and searched a number of homes before kidnapping former political prisoner Mahmoud Hakam al-Harbiyyat and Riyadh Abu Ras.

Late on Monday at night, soldiers stationed at the Container Roadblock, east of Bethlehem, kidnapped a university student from Doura town.

Local sources said the soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars before kidnapping Salah Ahmad al-‘Awawda, 20, a student of the Al-Quds University.

On Monday evening, dozens of extremist Israeli settlers marched between the Susiya and Ma’on illegal settlements, built on Palestinians land in Yatta town near Hebron.

Israeli soldiers were heavily deployed in the area, and completely blocked all Palestinian traffic.

Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Yatta, said the colonists marched on bypass road #60, while chanting racist anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian slogans, including “Death to Arabs.”

Jabour added that the soldiers sealed the entrances of Yatta, and various roads leading to Palestinian villages and communities south of east of Yatta.

IOF attacks a secondary school in Nablus
Picture
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) attacked Monday morning a secondary school to the south of Nablus city.

Eyewitnesses told a PIC reporter that IOF soldiers stormed Burin town and deployed in the vicinity of the school amid heavy fire of tear gas bombs into its courtyard.

Violent clashes erupted in the area where Palestinian youths responded by throwing stones and empty bottles towards the soldiers.

Israeli forces justified their attack on the school claiming that a group of youths stoned a settler's car passing near the school.

A local activist confirmed to the PIC reporter that dozens of Israeli soldiers violently broke into the school and brutally attacked the students which led to the outbreak of clashes.

Burin secondary school has been subjected to similar attacks more than once under flimsy pretexts, he added.

On the other hand, a makeshift military checkpoint was erected overnight between Burin and Madama towns, in southern Nablus, shortly after an Israeli jeep crashed in a skidding accident in the area.

Similar clashes between IOF soldiers and Palestinian school students were reported Monday in Sourif town, north of al-Khalil, eyewitnesses told the PIC.

They said that an IOF raid into the town triggered the confrontations, adding that the soldiers fired live and metal bullets in addition to teargas bombs at the students.

Palestinian girl kidnapped, youth wounded in IOF attack on peaceful rally
Picture
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday rounded up a Palestinian girl and left another youngster wounded following an attack on a peaceful rally staged in the West Bank town of Beitouna.

Activist in the Ann a-Kayd media network, Ahmad Haresh, said the IOF abducted the unidentified girl, a university student, as she joined the non-violent demo.

The celebration was organized by the student blocks at the Birzeit University to mark the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Clashes broke out after the IOF targeted the gathering with randomly-shot waves of tear gas canisters and rubber bullets.

A Palestinian young man sustained rubber bullet injures while dozens were treated for breathing disorders due to heavy inhalation of tear gas.

Meanwhile, a state of panic overwhelmed Palestinian children in al-Khalil’s Old City after a group of Israeli occupation soldiers, estimated at five, stormed a kindergarten and scoured it.

By-standers at the scene said the OF heavily assaulted ambulance crews as they rushed a Palestinian patient to the hospital.

The attack culminated in a round of search campaigns, combing operations, and provocative investigations reportedly launched across the city.

Soldiers Kidnap Four Palestinians In Jerusalem
Picture
Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Saturday evening, four Palestinians during clashes that took place in the at-Tour town, in occupied East Jerusalem, after dozens of soldiers invaded it. Two Palestinians kidnapped in northern West Bank.

Media sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the town, and clashed with local youths who hurled stones and empty bottles at them, while the soldiers fired gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets.

The army then detained, and violently assaulted several young Palestinian men before kidnapping four of them, and took them to an interrogation center in the city. Two of the kidnapped have been identified as Fadi Talal Sayyad, and Omrat Rabay’a.

In addition, Israeli military sources said the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians trying to cross a military roadblock, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

The sources said the soldiers searched a Palestinian car, and allegedly located two M16 rifles, adding that one of the Palestinians tried to escape when the soldiers found a bullet in his car, and kidnapped him after firing a few rounds of live ammunition into the air.

According to the army, the soldiers searched the car, located the M16 rifle, and took the two to an interrogation facility.
