A new 330 coronavirus cases were recorded and 470 patients recovered from the disease in Palestine during the last 24 hours, today said the Ministry of Health.
The ministry said in a statement that 40 new cases were recorded in the district of Hebron, three in Ramallah, eight in Tulkarm, four in Bethlehem, 14 in Jenin, 20 in Nablus, 11 in Jericho and six in Qalqilya.
It said active cases dropped to 8320, while overall recoveries reached 4726, as deaths stood at 78.
The ministry added that the recovery rate has reached 36 percent of the total cases, while the percentage of active cases has dropped to 63.4 percent.
Death rate, meanwhile, stood at 0.6 percent of the total cases.
Of the active cases, 12 remain in intensive care and three are on respirators.

The Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah said that five patients from different West Bank areas died of coronavirus on Saturday.
According to a brief statement released by the ministry in the evening, the number of Palestinian citizens who had died of the virus since Saturday morning rose to five after a 63-year-old patient in al-Khalil breathed his last.
Earlier, an 82-year-old COVID-19 patient from al- Masara village in Bethlehem was also proclaimed dead.
The health ministry said that Saturday’s new deaths brought the total to 78 since the outbreak of the pandemic in Palestine.

Among the 537 new confirmed cases, 287 cases were recorded in Jerusalem district, 106 others in Hebron district, 27 others in Ramallah and al-Bireh district, five others in Tulkarem district, 11 others in Bethlehem district, another in Jenin district, 46 others in Nablus district, 44 others in Jericho district, and 10 others in Qalqiliya district.

An 82-year-old Palestinian man has died this morning of coronavirus in the southern West Bank town of Idna, in the Hebron district, according to the Ministry of Health.
