A 50-year-old woman was today pronounced dead of coronavirus in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, said the Ministry of Health.
It said with the woman's death, a total of 86 people have died of coronavirus so far in Palestine.
Palestine registers 323 new coronavirus cases, 247 recoveries
The Ministry of Health confirmed today 323 new cases of COVID-19 and 247 recoveries in Palestine during the past 24 hours.
In its daily statement, the ministry said 18 of the new cases were registered in occupied Jerusalem, 219 in Hebron, 28 in Ramallah, three in Tulkarm, four in Jenin, five in Nablus, 41 in Jericho, two in Qalqilia, one in Bethlehem, and two in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, 238 recoveries were registered in Hebron governorate, seven in Jenin, and two in Tulkarm.
The ministry added that 14 coronavirus patients are now placed under intensified care, of whom four are on respirators.

Palestine Friday afternoon recorded 394 new novel coronavirus cases and one fatality in the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry announced in a press statement that 394 Palestinians tested positive for COVID-19 in the various Palestinian districts in the last 24 hours.
Among the 394 new cases, 161 cases were confirmed in Jerusalem district, 203 others in Hebron district, 15 others in Ramallah and al-Bireh district, two others in Qalqiliya district, five others in Bethlehem district, three others in Jenin district and five others in Nablus district.
Besides, one Palestinian died due to the highly contagious virus and 62 others recovered from it in the last 24 hours.
The latest fatality was identified as a 60-year-old woman from al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem city.
As for the latest recovery cases, 11 cases were recorded in Nablus district, 47 others in Hebron district, two others in Tulkarem district and two others in Salfit district.
The ministry pointed out that 14 patients infected with the virus were still receiving treatment in the intensive care units, including five connected to ventilators.
According to the latest coronavirus data, the confirmed cases in the occupied territories (West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza) reached 13,457.
Recoveries have totaled 6,351 and the death toll reached 85, leaving a total of 8,796 active cases.

The coronavirus pandemic today claimed Palestinian victim number 84 with the death of a 41-year-old woman from the southern West Bank city of Hebron, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

A 41-year-old woman from the southern West Bank city of Hebron was the latest victim of coronavirus pandemic, today said the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

A Palestinian man said to be 56 years of age has died tonight of coronavirus, raising the total dead in Palestine so far to 82, according to the Ministry of Health.
It said the man was from al-Majd village, southwest of the southern West Bank city of Hebron where the majority of the infected cases recently were from.
Out of the 82 dead, 78 were from the West Bank, three from East Jerusalem, and one from the Gaza Strip.
