Israeli soldiers invaded, Tuesday, the Jaloud Palestinian village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and handed demolition orders against ten home for “being built without permits, and “close proximity to Ahiya” illegal Israeli colonialist outpost.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of Israeli settlements file in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, said the ten Palestinian homes are close to "Ahiya outpost," that was illegally built on privately-owned Palestinian lands.
He added that the homes belong to Mohammad Kamal Abbad, Mohammad Kamel Abbad, Hussein Kamal Abbad, Farhan Kamal Abbad, Farah Farhan Abbad, Nassim Farah Abbad, Mahmoud Farhan Abbas, Fawzi Sami Abbad and Salam Sami Abbad.
He said the Palestinians have built a few homes, in their own lands in the village since 1975, and that Israel wants to demolish them due to their proximity to the Ahiya colonialist outpost, built on lands illegally confiscated from the Palestinians.
The demolitions would result in the displacement of at least fifty Palestinians in the village.
Established in 1997, the Ahiya illegal outpost is now home to fifty colonialist settlers, on twelve acres of private Palestinian lands, with a total area of 65 acres illegally ceased by the Israeli government that designated them as "state lands."
Israel's settlements and outposts in occupied Palestine, including in and around occupied Jerusalem, are legal under International Law, and the Fourth Geneva Convention, to which Israel is a signatory.

Suhair Zaqout, the Red Cross spokesperson in Gaza, described the Israeli resolution to demolish Palestinian houses in Jerusalem and the West Bank as a collective punishment that is internationally prohibited.
Zaqout pointed out, in an interview with the PIC in Gaza, that the number of injured Palestinians reached 3,600 in Jerusalem and the West Bank in October. She added that the Red Cross is documenting the Israeli crimes, and is asking the Israeli government in non-public sessions to respect the international law.
Israeli live ammunition
Regarding the Israeli field executions against Palestinians, Zaqout demanded the Israeli army not to use live ammunition since Palestinians are unarmed and pose no real threat. She mentioned that this point is referred to in the dialogues with the Israeli government.
Humanitarian diplomacy, according to Zaqout, plays a role in delivering the Palestinian suffering to the world at international events, as the Red Cross is present in such events.
In respect to the Israeli violations against journalists, Zaqout confirmed that international law protects journalists and that the Red Cross is taking the necessary procedures to ensure their rights.
Gaza Strip
Zaqout pointed out that the Palestinians of Gaza have endured a lot of suffering, especially during the 51-day Israeli assault last summer. She confirmed that the Gaza people’s life is not easy-going as the Strip is still waiting for the reconstruction process that has slowly started, even after a year and half of the Israeli aggression.
She called for breaking down all the restrictions imposed on the Gaza Strip in order to allow the people of Gaza get construction materials and humanitarian help, referring to the electricity, water, and salaries problems that the people of Gaza are going through among other problems.
Assistance programs
Zaqout mentioned that the Red Cross cannot take the responsibilities of the authorities, but it is still providing some programs to help.
The Red Cross, according to Zaqout, is working on a land reclamation program for 10 thousand dunums in the border areas of Gaza. Moreover, the Red Cross is maintaining contacts with the Gaza Ministry of Health to develop the human resources to help the Ministry.
She confirmed that the Red Cross is still having the same budget for the Palestinian territories, in spite of the financial crisis that is affecting many international organizations. She also assured that the Red Cross budget was not affected in 2015, and it will not be affected in 2016.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday morning, Jabal al-Mokabber town, in occupied Jerusalem, and demolished a Palestinian home inhabited by seven family members.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said dozens of soldiers, and employees of the Jerusalem City Council, invaded the town, before forcing the family out of their home, and demolished it.
Resident Sami Edrees told Silwanic that the soldiers only allowed him to remove important documents from his property, light furniture and belongings, before city council workers started removing the fortunate prior to demolishing his property.
Edrees added that the soldiers held the family a few meters away from the property before, before demolishing it. The demolished 80 square/meter home was inhabited by Edrees, his wife and their five children; the oldest is 20, and the youngest is only four.
Edrees started building his home three months ago, and moved into the property with his family 15 days ago. Construction and furnishing coasts were about 100.000 New Israeli Shekels. Israel said the property was built without a construction permit, and issued two demolition orders over the last two months.
Edrees had to pay high fines, yet; the City Council insisted on demolishing it. The family was never informed the soldiers will be coming in the morning to demolish their home. While Israel continues to approve, build and expand illegal colonies, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem remain largely denied construction permits, or permits to expand their existing property.
The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) has reported that Israel demolished 450 Palestinian structures since the beginning of this year, displacing 514 residents, and that the number of homes and structures demolished since 1967 is 48.488.

Abu Jamal family explained that the occupation forces raided the house of Safa’ and took measurements, checked the walls and created holes in them. The forces claimed that the house is owned by Ala’ Abu Jamal and that the first house they checked in which a demolition order was issued against is not actually owned by Ala’.
The family refused the occupation forces’ claim and confirmed that the house they raided on Tuesday is owned by Safa’ Abu Jamal where she has been living with her husband and two children.
Abu Jamal family also mentioned that the forces interrogated several family members to make sure which one is the house of Ala’.
It is noteworthy that Ala’ passed away after carrying out a run-over and stabbing attack in West Jerusalem and his family received a confiscation and demolition order to his house in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber in Jerusalem.

Arab Organization for Human Rights in Britain called on the international community to immediately intervene to halt Israeli policy of demolishing Palestinians’ houses which is considered as a war crime in accordance with the international law.
In a statement on Tuesday, the organization asked the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon along with decision makers in the world to pursue effective measures to end that Israeli policy, warning of its dangerous consequences.
The statement mentioned that Israeli government issued orders to accelerate the demolition process of the homes of Palestinians who were accused of anti-occupation operations of stabbing, running over and shooting at settlers since October the first.
Five Palestinian homes, housing 28 persons including 16 children, have been demolished by Israeli forces, the statement highlighted.
The organization said Israel has committed so many massive crimes against Palestinians such as the siege on Gaza, the attacks on Muslims’ holy places, Judaization of Jerusalem, establishing the Separation Wall, settlement construction, confiscating of land and house demolition.
Israel razes the houses of Palestinians who kill settlers, but at the same time does not penalize those Israelis who kill Palestinians and burn them alive, the statement pointed out.

Israeli settlement in foreground, with Sho'afat camp behind the Wall
The Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, in a recent Cabinet meeting, proposed revoking the residency rights of 80,000 Jerusalemites, which would mean that the people of Sho'afat refugee camp and Kafr Aqab, as well as other neighborhoods, would be cut off from the rest of Jerusalem.
The proposal was considered by the Israeli Cabinet in their recent meeting, but no decision was made.
Already, the 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank have been severed from Jerusalem due to the Israeli construction of a massive Wall over the past 13 years. The Wall has annexed large sections of Palestinian land and made them a de facto part of the state of Israel, in direct violation of the responsibilities of an occupier under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Israel's government signed the Convention in 1957, requiring it to provide for the needs of civilian populations under occupation. The Convention also requires that an Occupying Power must not transfer any civilians into the land it has militarily occupied. But Israel has transferred over half a million people into settlements constructed on Palestinian land that was militarily occupied, then illegally seized, since the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights began in 1967.
In Jerusalem, the Israeli Annexation Wall has been constructed in such a way as to annex as much of Jerusalem as possible for the Israeli state, while forcing the Palestinian population into smaller and smaller enclaves. Now, under the Israeli Prime Minister's proposal, residents of those enclaves would lose their residency rights altogether.
Israel has an identity card system for the residents of Jerusalem that is completely unique in the world. Jewish Israelis who live in Jerusalem or in paramilitary colonies in the West Bank are afforded full Israeli citizenship. But Palestinians who live on their ancestral land in Jerusalem are given a different kind of identity card, which ensures that they have far fewer rights than Jewish residents of the city.
If a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem, for example, were to travel abroad for more than a year, Israel would consider that person to be an 'absentee property owner', and would seize their land and home and annex it to Israel, denying the Palestinian owner the right to return to their home. The rule only applies to Palestinian residents of Jerusalem, and not to Jewish residents of the city.
According to the Israeli paper Yedioth Ahranoth, following the construction of new walls and barricades in recent weeks to further separate and segregate Palestinian residents of Jerusalem from Jewish residents, the Israeli Prime Minister told his Cabinet ministers, "We need to examine the possibility of canceling their [Palestinian Jerusalemites] residency. There needs to be a discussion about it."
Some Israeli ministers voiced opposition to the plan, not because they were concerned about the Palestinian Jerusalemites losing their residency rights, but because they believe such a division would "give up territory" that some Israelis believe should belong to Israel.
That claim is based on a military takeover of the land by Israeli forces. Neither international law nor signed agreements recognize military takeover of land as a legitimate way of expanding state territory.

Israeli forces enforced, on Saturday evening, the Al-Rajjbi family to demolish their home in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, to the north of Jerusalem, by their own effort, in order to implement the municipality court decision, and under the usual pretext of building without a permit.
Jerusalem's Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported, according to Al Ray, that the occupation municipality had given a time limit for demolishing the home and, in case of not implementing the decision, the municipality crews were to demolish it, with a financial penalty of 60,000 shekels incurred by the family for demolition costs.
Mrs. Al-Rajjbi said that eight members live in the home, including: (Abeer Al-Rajjbi, her husband, five children aged between 18-6 years old). The home was built 15 years ago, on an area of 100 square meters.
Al-Rajjbi pointed out that, in years past, they tried to obtain a license to build the house, but only in vain, under the pretext that the building was established on street sides.
The Israeli municipality had imposed fines on the family up to 250,000 shekels, in addition to the costs of lawyers and engineer crews, in the family's attempt to keep their home.
According to UN statistics, Palestinians now make up the largest refugee population in the entire world.

Medical sources have reported, on Saturday evening, that several Palestinians, including a child, have been injured by Israeli army fire in different parts of the occupied West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem. Israeli extremists destroy a hothouse near Jenin.
The sources said a child, 13 years of age, was shot with two rubber-coated steel bullets in Hizma town, east of Jerusalem, and that one of the bullets struck him in the face, while the other in his left shoulder.
He was moved to the Palestine Medical Center in Ramallah; doctors said the wounded child suffered a moderate but stable injury.
In addition, a Palestinian teen was shot, also with a rubber-coated steel bullet, during clashes with Israeli soldiers invading the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque area, north of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Medics said dozens of residents, including families, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, as the soldiers gas bombs targeting a number of homes.
Many injuries were also reported in Zabbouba village, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, during clashes with Israeli soldiers invading it.
The Red Crescent in Jenin said all of the wounded received treatment by local medics, and that many were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets, and the rest suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, including resident Mohammad Taleb and his family, after Israeli gas bombs were fired into their home.
In related news, extremists living in the Mabo Dothan illegal Israeli colonialist outpost, built on Palestinian lands belonging to the residents of Ya’bad town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, destroyed a hothouse belonging to Kayed Abu Bakr.

The occupation bulldozers demolished on Wednesday a farm used for livestock breeding owned by Ziad Zahaykeh in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber in Jerusalem.
Zahaykeh explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation forces along with a bulldozer raided his farm and completely demolished it; the farm is 350 square meters.
He added that the occupation authorities also demolished the wall around the farm and then removed and confiscated the farm’s gate and proceeded with the demolition process.
Zahaykeh pointed out that the municipality’s staff confiscated three sheep during the demolition process; note that the farm has been established for three years and the demolition process was under the pretext of “building without a permit”.
