Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Sunday handed a demolition order to the Palestinian farmer Mohammad Shahbir from Deir Ballout town west of Salfit.

A round of home break-ins and arrests were reported at daybreak Sunday as the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rolled into West Bank provinces.
Reporting from al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank, a PIC news correspondent said the IOF rolled into Bab al-Zawia and al-Shuhadaa Street in several army jeeps and bulldozers and leveled Palestinian lands.
The IOF also wreaked havoc on civilian homes in al-Khalil and handed interrogation writs to two Palestinians civilians from al-Zgheir family.
Overnight, the IOF, onboard seven military jeeps, stormed the vicinities of Tareq Ibn Ziad School, in al-Mashareqa Neighborhood, and ravaged Palestinian commercial shops.
Three Palestinian ex-prisoners were kidnapped by the occupation forces from their homes in al-Khalil’s northern town of Beit Ummar.
Activist Mohamed Awad identified the arrestees as 24-year-olds Muntassar Awad and Ibrahim Abu Diyeh, along with Youssef Ikhleil, 35.
According to Awad, 46 Palestinians, mostly youngsters and minors, have been kidnapped by the IOF from Beit Ummar since the start of 2017.
On Saturday evening, two Palestinian youths—Mohamed Abu Akr and Majdi al-Natsheh—were kidnapped by the Israeli border cops near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the Old City of al-Khalil, after they had been subjected to heavy beating and to strip searches on suspicion of holding knives.
The Israeli radio said five Palestinians were arrested by the army forces. The list included two youngsters in their early twenties from Bethlehem.
Meanwhile, 15 Israeli patrols stormed Nablus province and cordoned off the family home of the slain Palestinian youth Ahmed Ghazal, fatally shot by the Israeli army in Occupied Jerusalem on Saturday. Ghazal’s family members had been subjected to exhaustive interrogation in the process.
At the same time, the IOF stormed the environs of the An-Najah old campus and closed al-Bukhary bookshop owned by prisoner Alaa al-Tirawi, who was arrested on October 5 on account of his affiliations with Hamas resistance group. The closure is to be in effect until May 31, 2017.
Clashes reportedly burst out in Qalqilya’s eastern town of Gios moments after they IOF stormed the area and attacked the Palestinian anti-occupation youth with randomly-unleashed spates of teargas canisters.
A military checkpoint was further pitched by the Israeli forces at the main entrance to Azzoun town, where Palestinian vehicles and civilians had been made to endure intensive searches.
The assault culminated in the abduction of youngster Othman Redwan from Azzoun at predawn.

Several Israeli military jeeps invaded, on Sunday at dawn, Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, violently searched homes, causing excessive damage, and abducted three Palestinians, including two former political prisoners.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded many homes in the areas of Safa, al-Bayyada, and ash-Sho’ab, and that the soldiers destroyed a closet in the house of Yousef Bader Ekhlayyel, 36, and abducted him, before confiscating clothes, including a winter coat belonging to his child, Ammar, only 7 years of age; Ekhlayyel is a former political prisoner, who was held by Israel for four years.
The soldiers also abducted two former political prisoners, identified as Montaser Abdul-Hamid Mheisin, 24, and Ibrahim Khalil Abu Dayya, 24.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the home of Mohammad Sa’adi Ekhlayyel, and violently searched it, before confiscating his ID card.

Palestinian human rights sources revealed Saturday a new Israeli plan to confiscate dozens of dunums of Palestinian-owned lands west of Salfit.
The local activist Khaled Maali affirmed to the PIC reporter that the so-called Israeli Civil Administration declared intention to build a new university in El Kana settlement at the expense of dozens of agricultural dunums west of Salfit.
Bulldozing operations have already started in the area without notifying the lands’ owners of the confiscation orders, he pointed out.
In December 2016, the UN Security Council passed a resolution that declared all settlements in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem to be illegal.

Israeli settlers bulldozed Palestinian lands in Broukin town, west of Salfit, to expand the Ariel industrial zone.
A PIC news correspondent said Israeli bulldozers leveled Palestinian cultivated lands and ranches covering 20 dunums in Khilet al-Zaafaran, in Broukin.
Researcher Khaled Maali said the move makes part of Israeli attempts to build more factories in the Ariel industrial zone, in an act feared to destabilize even further the Palestinian ecosystem.
Maali added that four Israeli industrial zones have been established on Palestinian land in Salfit, in flagrant infringement of international law.

Jamal al-Ahmad, the coordinator of the Committee for Defending Salfit Lands, stated that Israel wants to build a technical campus belonging to “ORT Israel” college, in addition to constructing 250 colonialist units on Palestinian lands in Masha and az-Zawiya villages, west of Salfit.
Al-Ahmad added that Israeli is also planning two railroad lines on Salfit lands, to link the colonies in the area with Tel Aviv, and that Israel is constantly expanding its industrial areas on the expense of the Palestinians and their land.
Talking to Maan News al-Ahmad said that Salfit is subject to most of Israel’s illegal colonialist activities, especially since it is comprised of 204 square/Kilometers, and most of its lands (%74.5) are in Area C of the West Bank, and complete Israeli civil and military control.
There are 18 Palestinian communities in Salfit, with 72.000 inhabitants as shown by statistics of the Palestinian Census Bureau in its 2016 survey, while the number of illegal Israeli colonists in the area Is around 55.000, in addition to 15.000 students studying in Ariel colony college.
Israel has 28 colonies in Salfit, including Industrial Zones in Ariel, Buchanan, Ze’ev, Emanuel and Carnie Shomron, while their chemical waste is devastating the Palestinian agricultural lands, in addition to the serious environmental damage.
Al-Ahmad stated that all Palestinian communities in Salfit are constantly suffering due to the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations, and are becoming more isolated and fragmented, surrounded by illegal colonies and army bases.
“The world needs to know what Israel is doing; the ongoing theft of Palestinian lands, the isolation of Palestinian communities, in addition to all crimes and violations of International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and all related agreements.” He said.
He also stated that the strategic aim is ongoing resistance to Israel’s violations, especially its colonies, and that the current focus is on trying to find support for prosecuting Israel, preventing the annexation of Palestinian lands, and helping the villages.
“We are trying to provided free legal support to the villages, and to provide them with saplings and agricultural tools; this is meant to help them rehabilitate their lands and surveying all lands close to the illegal colonies, especially since Israel keeps working on expanding them,” Al-Ahmad stated, “Israel’s crimes and violations must be exposed to the whole world; they are escalating to a very dangerous level, isolating entire communities, and stealing the lands, the only sources of livelihoods, from their Palestinian owners.”

The Israeli government has decided, Thursday, to illegally confiscate nearly 977 Dunams of Palestinian lands, south of the northern part of the occupied West Bank, after ruling them as “State-owned property.”
The 977 Dunams are privately-owned by many families from the villages of Qaryout, as-Sawiya, al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya and Sinjel, south of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of Israeli settlements file at the Palestinian authority in the northern part of the West Bank, said the lands are located in basin 1, in al-Khawaneeq Mountain, as-Sane’a, Harayeq ash-Sheikh, at-Tantour, al-Batayin, as-Sahlat, and al-Qal’a al-Hamra, in addition to Basin 6 in Ein al-Mohra Meadows in Qaryout.
Daghlas added that Israel also decided to confiscate lands in Basin 1, in as-Sawiya, in the areas of al-Qaleela ash-Shamiyya, ash-Shouna, al-Mi’rada, al-Qaleela al-Qibleyya, Abu Nasr Mountain, and az-Zahra’ Mountain.
On his part, the head of the National Committee against the Wall and Colonies, Waleed ‘Assaf, said the Israeli decision is a very serious escalation, and aims at “legalizing” all illegal colonialist outposts, and the establishment of a new one, between Shilo and Shvut Rachel illegal colonies, south of Nablus.
‘Assaf also stated that Israel is considering naming the new settlement “Gilad Zaar,” the son of terrorist Moshe Zaar, who led bombing attacks targeting Palestinian mayors in the West Bank, by wiring their cars 40 years ago.
He further stated that the Israeli government has also confiscated 2200 Dunams of Palestinian lands, in the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, in addition to 4000 Dunams owned by Palestinians from Z’ayyim and as-Sawahra towns, near Ma’aleh Adumim illegal colony, and added that the decisions were made after US President Donald Trump was sworn into office.

Israeli sources claimed that seven Palestinians were detained for their participation in Land Day marches on Thursday.
The detainees were all taken for investigation, according to the sources.
A large amount of money was also confiscated under the pretext of being used to fund anti-occupation attacks, the sources claimed.
Meanwhile, IOF violently stormed in large numbers Yabad town, south of Jenin, and broke into the activist Adnan Hamarsheh’s house.
Adnan was subjected to an investigation during the raid, while no arrests were reported.
Adnan became unable to move after suffering multiple strokes during his detention in Israeli jails.
He was released only few months ago after spending 15 years in Israeli jails in separate arrests mostly in administrative detention.
