Israeli settlers on Sunday installed caravans on Palestinian lands in the northern Jordan Valley.
Activist Aref Daraghmeh said that Israeli settlers have recently brought several mobile homes in al-Mermala area in the northern Jordan Valley.
He added that the Israeli occupation authorities about a month ago paved a new road in the area amid expectations that a new settler outpost will be established there.
According to Peace Now, 32 random settler outposts have been established on Palestinian-owned lands since 2012, most of which were set up after Donald Trump was elected the president of the United States.

Violent clashes broke out on Saturday evening after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Sebastia town, north of Nablus.
Sebastia's mayor Mohammed Azem said that the IOF raided the town amid heavy firing of live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, which led to the outbreak of confrontation with Palestinian youths.
Azem said that earlier in the day IOF soldiers entered the town in a large number and threatened to demolish a Palestinian structure

Israeli soldiers leave Palestinians homeless as they demolish a 2 storey building with bulldozers in East Jerusalem on 22 July 2019
The Israeli occupation authorities demolished 18 Palestinian-owned residential buildings this week in Sur Bahir, just 2 or 3 km from Al-Aqsa, rendering the inhabitants homeless.
It was yet another crime intended to boost Israel’s ethnic cleansing of historic Palestine and it coincided with the visit of a delegation of Arab “journalists” to the Zionist state, occupied Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The delegation included a Saudi blogger who was spat at and called a “traitor” by Palestinians as he entered the mosque. Reports on social media showed the group having to leave Al-Aqsa humiliated and scared for their safety.
The demolitions demonstrated that Arab normalisation with Israel provides an incentive for the occupation authorities to continue their attacks against the Palestinian people as part of the slow genocide which started in 1948. Israel still believes that it is at war and is taking steps to push the Palestinians to leave their homeland of their own accord.
The buildings blown up by Israel were in Area A, which is supposed to be under the control of the Palestinian Authority according to the Oslo Accords. This suggests that the Israeli enemy no longer recognises the Accords, which were in any case voided almost 15 years ago when war criminal Ariel Sharon’s tanks invaded the areas under PA control, besieged former President Yasser Arafat and destroyed his headquarters. Many observers believe that the Israelis finished the job by murdering Arafat.
This week’s events illustrate the desire of Israel to empty Jerusalem and the surrounding districts of the indigenous Palestinian population. It also wants to sever the holy city from its historic West Bank hinterland, which it believes is Jerusalem’s backyard surrounding the Zionist state’s “eternal capital”.
They are also a message to those who have closed their eyes and ears and refuse to face the fact that the enemy’s determination to complete its ethnic cleansing of Palestine is boosted by the ongoing Arab normalisation, which has even surprised the Israelis. The presence of an Arab media delegation in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa when Israel committed the collective punishment demolition in Sur Bahir is confirmation of what I claim. tweet
Israel’s latest heinous crime is a reminder to us all that the state was founded on the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinian population and more than 50 massacres committed by what one writer has called “Jewish terrorists” and the nascent “Israel Defence Forces. The consequence of that was the destruction of 520 Palestinian towns and villages, which have been wiped off the map completely, as well as most of the Arab neighbourhoods of major cities. More than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homeland and scattered across the world in that first wave of ethnic cleansing.
It is obvious that Israel will repeat such crimes until the international community ends it hypocrisy and collusion. How much longer can the US give Israel unlimited political, financial and military support, and the Arab states continue their normalisation drive?
Condemnations of the demolitions are just words. No individual state or the UN has bothered to do something positive to call Israel to account for its crimes. We haven’t even heard of any European, Arab or Muslim countries demanding that the UN Security Council or General Assembly meet to rein-in the colonial Zionist state.
What is required of the Palestinian leadership, therefore, is to announce the withdrawal from the Oslo Accords and the cancellation of the agreement, which was assassinated by Sharon’s tanks in 2002 and is now being bulldozed by the terrorist Benjamin Netanyahu. They have buried Oslo under the rubble of the buildings in Wadi Hummus. The Palestinian leadership must withdraw any and all recognition of the state of Israel and call upon people within and beyond Palestine to converge on occupied Jerusalem and launch a new struggle to end Israel’s ability to act with impunity. Normalisation moves should be ended immediately, as should the Palestinian division.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has slammed a recent wave of terror and bloodshed waged by Israel against the Palestinians, saying Ankara will oppose anyone who supports the Tel Aviv regime.
“Whoever is on the side of Israel, let everyone know that we are against them,” said Erdogan while addressing senior provincial officials from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Ankara on Saturday.
The remarks came amid a new wave of Israeli crackdown in the occupied Palestinian territories as regime forces continue with demolition of the Palestinian houses in occupied areas in the West Bank and in the Jerusalem al-Quds.
Israel came under renewed international criticism earlier this week after its forces stormed a neighborhood of the Sur Baher village in the West Bank early on Monday and destroyed Palestinian homes.
Tel Aviv claims the buildings had been constructed illegally and built too close to Israel’s apartheid wall in the region.
Palestinians, however, say Israel is using security as a pretext to force them out of the area as part of long-term efforts to expand settlements built on occupied Palestinian land and roads linking them.
Governments and rights campaigners have slammed the demolitions as a serious blow to international efforts to reach peace in the occupied territories.
Erdogan said Turkey will continue to promote the Palestinian cause regardless of efforts to undermine it mainly by supporters of the Israeli regime.
“We do not approve of silence on the state terror that Israel blatantly carries out in Palestine,” said the Turkish president.
The comments came several days after the United States moved to block a United Nations Security Council draft resolution seeking to condemn Israel’s demolition of Palestinian properties.
Relations between Turkey and the US have soured in recent times due to Washington’s sanctions on Ankara which come over Turkey’s increasing defense cooperation with Russia.
Erdogan said US sanctions against Turkey would not deter the country from consolidating its military ties with Russia, especially those centered on Turkey’s deployment of modern Russian missile defense system.
“I would like to once again express that no threats or sanctions ... can prevent us from implementing our country’s security priorities,” he said.

Israeli settlers chopped 80 olive trees for Palestinian farmers in the village of Yasouf, east of the northern West Bank city of Salfit, today reported Yasouf mayor, Khaled Abbieh.
He told WAFA that the land where the trees were cut down is located near the illegal Israeli settlement of Rahalim and it is owned by two brothers who are residents of the village.
The trees’ arson came as Palestinian farmer prepare for the olive picking season, which is done in the autumn. Thousands of families live off harvesting olives.

Morocco’s foreign ministry has denounced Israel‘s mass home demolitions in the Palestinian town of Sur Baher, east of Occupied Jerusalem.
Last Thursday, minister of foreign affairs Nasser Bourita said that Morocco “expresses its firm condemnation of the demolition by the Israeli authorities of houses belonging to Palestinian citizens.”
Bourita made his remarks in a news conference following talks with the premier of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Timothy Harris, in Rabat.
The foreign minister said that Israel’s demolition policy is “unacceptable,” and violates the provisions of international law and the agreements the Israelis signed with the Palestinian Authority.
He also described Israeli practices as a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law and UN resolutions.
“Morocco flatly rejects all unilateral measures likely to change the historical and legal status in al-Quds (Jerusalem), to stir feelings of despair and disappointment among the Palestinian people and to undermine the Middle East peace process,” he added.

Israeli authorities demolished the Palestinian Bedouin village of Al-Araqib for the 148th time, today, the second time this week, while abducting village leader Sheikh Sayyah Al-Turi, Arab48 reported.
According to local residents, in the morning, occupation authorities bulldozed and destroyed homes and tents under the protection of occupation police forces.
Eyewitnesses also confirmed that police arrested Sheikh Sayyah Al-Turi, who had only been released from Ramla prison on Tuesday morning after being detained for seven months.
Al-Turi’s sentence was extended for 60 days after prison services conditioned his release on his forcible transfer and deportation from Al-Araqib to the city of Rahat. Israeli authorities demolished Al-Araqib for the 147th time the day before Al-Turi’s release.
The Bedouin village is one of 51 “unrecognized” Arab villages in the Negev and is constantly targeted for demolition ahead of plans to Judaize the Negev by building homes for new Jewish communities. Israeli bulldozers, which Bedouins are charged for, have demolished everything, from the trees to the water tanks, but Bedouin residents have tried to rebuild it every time.
Bedouins in the Negev must abide by the same laws as Jewish Israeli citizens. They pay taxes but do not enjoy the same rights and services as Jews, in Israel, and the state has repeatedly refused to connect the towns to the national grid, water supplies and other vital amenities.
Israeli authorities claim that the Bedouins are on the land illegally, as it is “state property”. However, the Bedouins’ ownership was registered as long ago as when they lived in the area under Ottoman rule. The State of Israel, established in 1948, does not recognize their title deeds.
In 1969, Israel called on Palestinian land owners to register their land with the authorities, but since then they have not accepted any of the applications made by Palestinian residents of the Negev.

In a Statement made by Press Japanese Secretary Takeshi Osuga on the Demolition of Palestinian buildings by Israeli authorities Japan expresses its deep concern.
The Government of Japan expresses its deep concern over the demolition by Israeli authorities of about 10 buildings owned by Palestinians in Wadi al-Hummus, Sur Bahir village.
Osuga added that Japan firmly believes that the issues faced by the two parties, Israel and Palestine, can only be resolved through direct negotiations based on trust built through the efforts of both parties.
This incident goes against the ongoing efforts by the international community including Japan to create an environment conducive to serious dialogue between the parties and to achieve a two-state solution whereby the state of Israel and a future independent state of Palestine co-exist in peace.
Japan once again strongly urges both parties to act to enhance mutual trust and continue to make steady efforts toward peace.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said a new committee will examine how to implement the ending of cooperation with Israel, following a decision by PA leaders in Ramallah.
President Abbas said at Palestinian leadership meeting held in Ramallah following Israel’s demolition of 10 Palestinian buildings in Sur Baher neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem that the leadership decided to stop the agreements signed with Israel and the formation of a committee to implement this decision.
The Palestinian leaders met Thursday to decide on measures against Israel following the demolition of Palestinian homes in the village of Sur Baher, on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Sunday.
The President said: “Our hands have been and are still extended to a just, comprehensive and lasting peace. But this does not mean that we accept the status quo or surrender to the measures of the occupation, adding that:” We will not surrender and we will not coexist with the occupation, nor will we accept the ‘deal of the century.’ Palestine and Jerusalem are not for sale or bargain, They are not a real estate deal in a real estate company.”
He stressed that “there will be no peace, no security, and no stability in our region and the world without our people achieving their rights in full. No matter how much time it takes, the repugnant occupation is going to be defeated and our future state will be independent.”
The President thanked all the friendly and brotherly countries of the world that stand by the Palestinian people and their just cause in international forums.
However, he added, “we want to see practical steps and implementation of United Nations resolutions on the ground, even once.”
He also stressed that the time has come to implement the Cairo 2017 agreement for intra-Palestinian reconciliation mediated by Egypt. “We do not want to return to the tragic results of the Moscow meeting when Hamas refused to recognize the Palestine Liberation Organization, which put it in line with Israel and the United States on this matter.
“My hand is extended for reconciliation and it is time to get more serious,” he said.
