Israeli colonial settlers unleashed their cattle, on Wednesday, onto Palestinian-owned farm lands in the northern Alghour area of the Jordan Valley, in the West Bank.
Local legal activist, Aref Daraghma, told Palestinian Wafa News Agency that tens of cows were released onto farm lands of wheat and barely, in the Umm al-Qaba village in the Alghour area.
The legal activist believed that those cattle, which belong to Israeli colonists, living nearby, have been herded excessively, causing large quantities of wheat and barley to be destroyed.
Palestinian farm lands have recently been frequently exposed to attacks by nearby illegal Israeli settlers in the Alghour area of the Jordan Valley, which is considered to be a rich farming region.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday afternoon confiscated Palestinian excavation equipment in Beit Dajan town in the West Bank district of Nablus.
Local sources said that the IOF stormed the eastern area of Beit Dajan and seized a Palestinian-owned excavator that was working there.
The IOF claimed the land where the excavation work was taking place is part of Area C, which is exclusively administered by Israel based on the Oslo Accords.
Beit Dajan’s residents are constantly attacked and harassed by Israeli soldiers and settlers who plan to take over more lands of the town to build and expand settlements.

In a step Israeli settlers often follow as a prelude to seize Palestinian land, several settlers today set up a mobile home in the northern West Bank village of Qaryout, south of Nablus, according to a local official.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, said settlers from the illegal Shilo settlement placed a mobile home on Qaryout village land.
He said the settlers are taking advantage of the lockdown in the West Bank in light of the coronavirus outbreak to seize Palestinian land and establish a settlement outpost.
Settlers yesterday also chopped 36 olive trees in the same village, said Daghlas.

Illegal Jewish settlers on Sunday evening uprooted about 350 olive saplings belonging to Palestinian farmers in the town of al-Khader, near the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local source.
Head of the Colonization Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Hasan Breijieh, told WAFA that settlers from the colonial Israeli settlement of Sidi Boaz, nearby, uprooted about 350 olive saplings owned by local villagers.
Earlier today, settlers chopped off about 50 olive saplings belonging to Palestinian farmers in the same area.
Attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinian farmers and their properties have been on the rise during the current state of emergency in the West Bank due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Over the years, Israeli occupation authorities have fostered a culture of impunity for Jewish settlers committing acts of vandalism and attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli settlers vandalized last night several tombstones in a Palestinian cemetery in the village of Burqa, north of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, said a local official.
Settlers sneaked into the village from the evacuated settlement of Homesh and vandalized several tombstones in the village cemetery, said Ghassan Daghlas, who is monitoring settlers’ activities in the north of the West Bank.
The settlers took advantage of the lockdown and orders to stay home in several West Bank villages in an effort to stop the spread of the deadly global coronavirus disease to sneak into the village and vandalize the cemetery.
Settlers’ sabotage of Palestinian property and assaults against civilians in the occupied territories is rampant and almost daily.

Israeli soldiers today seized the tractor of a Palestinian farmer while plowing his land in the town of al-Shyoukh, in the south of the West Bank.
Hassan Breijieh, director of the Anti-Wall, Anti-Settlements Committee in Bethlehem, told WAFA that the soldiers seized the tractor of Hamed Ababdeh when he was working on his land located near the illegal settlement of Mitzad Nikodim, built on al-Shyoukh land.
The army claimed the farmer was on alleged “state” land despite the fact that Ababdeh had official documents proving ownership of that land, said Breijieh.

Blue/White party
More than 130 American Jewish leaders have joined Israel Policy Forum in telling Benny Gantz, Israel’s Blue/White party leader, and Gabi Ashkenazi, proposed by Gantz to be the next defense minister, to oppose unilateral West Bank annexation strongly supported by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party.
“We write to you as American Jewish communal leaders who are proudly Zionist, unquestionably pro-Israel, and who have devoted our lives to supporting the State of Israel and ensuring an ironclad relationship between Israel and Diaspora Jewry,” said the signatories to the letter addressed to Gantz and Ashkenazi.
“In the midst of this unprecedented health and financial crisis for Israel, we respectfully urge you not to use the need for unity in the face of emergency to create a different crisis for Israel by moving forward on unilateral annexation,” they added.
As they strive to put together a unity government after three failed elections in one year and months of deadlock, Netanyahu and his rival Gantz seem to have reached an agreement to annex parts of the West Bank that include the Jordan Valley, the northern Dead Sea and the illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, according to the Israeli media.
This step is seen as part of the so-called deal of the century plan drawn by US President Donald Trump and his pro-Israel team headed by his son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner. Israel is trying to rush this step in anticipation of Trump’s failure to win a second term in office in the upcoming US elections planned for later this year.
“We have strongly objected to Israel unilaterally annexing West Bank territory and applying sovereignty to Jewish settlements, whether according to the parameters of the Trump plan or any other similar proposal, at any point in time,” said the 130 American Jewish leaders. “To unilaterally move forward with such a plan now would be particularly damaging.
It will call into question the Israeli government’s priorities during a global and national emergency, shine a spotlight on controversial Israeli policies rather than highlight valiant Israeli efforts to develop a coronavirus vaccine, or laudable Israeli cooperation with the Palestinians on health and safety measures, and could create a rupture inside of Congress and in the upcoming presidential campaign during a volatile election season.
It will be viewed as political opportunism by proponents of annexation during the worst possible moment and will make it more challenging for American Jewish leaders as they seek to maintain strong support for Israel and pro-Israel policies at this time.”
The signatories to the letter warned that should annexation be advanced, “American Jews – the majority of whom oppose such a policy – will feel more alienated from Israel as a result.”
They called on Blue/While party to adopt their position on the unilateral annexation plan.
“Just as we expect that our own government focus on the crisis at hand without using the fear and uncertainty felt by Americans to push through harmful and unrelated policies, we ask that the leaders of the Jewish state to which we are all so committed do the same.
“We therefore urge you to remain steadfast in your opposition to unilateral annexation,” they said.
