An Israeli military force stormed, in a predawn raid, Al-Quds University campus, in the town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, sabotaging and seizing exhibits, the Palestinian Ministry of Education said on Saturday.
Troops broke down doors to an exhibition held at the Faculty of Medicine, sabotaging and seizing all exhibits, documents and electronic equipment, it said, according to WAFA correspondence.
The raid comes just two days after troops infiltrated the Palestine Technical University (Kadoori) campus, in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, seizing electronic materials and recordings of surveillance cameras.
In a press statement, the Education Ministry said that Israeli troops broke into the administration building and other offices inside the Abu Dis campus of Al-Quds University, located right behind the concrete wall Israeli authorities built to separate East Jerusalem from its environs, and tampered with their contents.
It called upon all local and international human rights organizations to expose Israeli violations against Palestinian universities, and ensure that Palestinian students receive education in a safe environment.
The exhibition was sponsored by the Islamic Bloc at the university.

Palestinians living in the unrecognized Umm al-Hiran village, in Negev, sounded cries for help over Israeli attempts to knock down their own and only homes.
The cries were launched after the Israeli army stormed the village in an attempt to knock down two Palestinian homes, paving the way for other upcoming demolitions.
The projected demolitions make part of an Israeli scheme of ethnic cleansing aiming to uproot Umm al-Hiran village and deport its native Palestinian residents so as to set the stage for the construction of an Israeli village bearing Hiran name.
Head of Umm al-Hiran local commission, Raed Abu al-Qiaan, said: “After the locals stood on their guard to the assault and closed the main entrance to the village, the Israeli troops backtracked and were stationed at a nearby site.”
“We appeal to our leadership and people to stand by our side. Our only homes are threatened with demolition. Umm al-Hiran is crying for help,” said the activist.
A home to 2,200 Palestinians, the unrecognized Umm al-Hiran village is located in the Wadi Atir area, to the northeast of Houra town. Two Palestinian communities—Atir and Umm al-Hiran—have set up roots in the area hundreds of years ago.

The Israeli Supreme Court rejected Wednesday an appeal filed by Palestinian villagers over Israel’s confiscation of their agricultural land east of Qalqilia.
The Palestinian committee against Apartheid Wall and settlement construction said Thursday that an Israeli court rejected yesterday an appeal submitted by residents of occupied West Bank villages of al-Nabi Elyas, Azzun, and Ezbet Atabib against the Israeli confiscation of their lands.
In December 2015, Israeli authorities issued a military order to confiscate 104 dunums of Qalqilia lands to build a road.
The Palestinian residents filed an appeal against the order, stressing that the land confiscation would only benefit Israeli settlers in the area.

Britain’s Foreign Office minister, Tobias Ellwood, expressed Thursday deep concern over “the land regulation bill in the Israeli Knesset to legalize settlement outposts across the West Bank.”
"We are deeply concerned by the land regulation bill in the Israeli Knesset to ‘legalize’ settlement outposts across the West Bank," Ellwood said in a statement issued today.
Such outposts are currently illegal under both Israeli domestic law and international humanitarian law. Should this proposal go ahead, it would seriously undermine prospects for a two-state solution, the statement said.
Ellwood urged the Israeli government to “reconsider the land regulation bill at the earliest opportunity.”
The so-called "Israeli land regulation bill" was approved by the Israeli Ministerial Committee for Legislation on Sunday and will now go to the Knesset for approval.
The international community has vehemently opposed Israeli construction in areas Israel occupied in 1967, saying it undermines the prospects of a two-state solution.
