The Israeli occupation customs personnel at the Haifa port in northern 1948 Occupied Palestine confiscated 4,000 kuffiyeh-wearing dolls, citing their allegedly inciting nature.
The dolls, according to the Israeli daily The Jerusalem Post, were dressed in a style popular among Palestinian anti-occupation protesters, with a white and black checkered Kuffiyeh, or scarf, wrapped around the head and face, and another scarf in the Palestinian flag colors of red, green and white draped around the neck.
On the neck scarf is a picture of Dome of the Rock, located on the holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem, and the slogans, "Jerusalem is ours" and "Jerusalem, here we come," inscribed in Arabic. The right hand of the doll is gripping a stone.
The dolls, which originated in the United Arab Emirates, were spotted by the occupation authorities at Haifa customs and kept for further investigation, according to the Israeli news outlets.
Ofir Gendelman, an Israeli government spokesman, claimed that the toys fit with a trend of incitement to violence in some Palestinian school lessons and television programs.
The consignment of dolls arrived in the thick of a wave of violence which has seen 117 Palestinians, including 25 children and five girls, killed and thousands more wounded by the Israeli occupation army and terrorists since early October month.

He affirmed that he has documents proving his ownership of the land.

The EU missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah made a statement, this Friday, regarding the recent demolitions and confiscations of Palestinians houses and structures in Area C.
It reads as follows, according to the PNN:
The EU missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah express deep concern, once again, at an increasing number of demolitions and confiscations of Palestinian structures in Area C in recent days.
These include repeated demolitions and confiscations of human and animal shelters at Al Hadidiya in Tubas Governorate in late November and the dismantlement and confiscation of tents there on 3rd December.
The latter were provided through the European Union in response to humanitarian need. In addition on 18th November, the community in Fasayil, already subject to demolitions in August, received verbal warnings of Israel’s intention to carry out further demolitions.
All of the communities affected are herder communities mainly depending on livestock. They are particularly vulnerable, faced with homelessness, potential displacement and at risk, especially as winter approaches.
The EU missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah call on the Government of Israel to return the confiscated EU humanitarian assistance to the community in Al Hadidiya in order to ensure the community’s physical protection in its place of living ahead of the winter season.
The EU missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah recall the Foreign Affairs Council Conclusions of 14 May 2012 and 20 July 2015, in which the EU called upon Israel to meet its obligations regarding the living conditions of the Palestinian population in Area C as well as its strong opposition to Israel’s settlement policy and actions taken in this context, such as building the separation barrier beyond the 1967 line, demolitions and confiscation – including of EU funded projects – evictions, forced transfers including of Bedouins, illegal outposts, settler violence and restrictions of movement and access.

The Palestinian Ghaith-Sub Laban family has appealed for urgent action to prevent their imminent forced eviction and displacement from their home in occupied East Jerusalem.
Battling forced eviction from their home for a number of years, the Ghaith-Sub Laban family gathered outside of the headquarters of the European Union and the Office of the U.S. Console, appealing for an urgent intervention to stop the forced eviction from their home in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.
A petition, signed by over 13,000 Jerusalemites, was also handed to the EU’s ambassador to push for an end to Israel’s forced deportation of the Palestinians.
The house owner, Noura Ghaith-Sub Laban, said the Israeli occupation has been pursuing such policies of forced deportation to expand illegal settlement at the expense of Palestinians.
She said the family is deeply attached to their home, where they have set up roots for dozens of years and which carries generations of memories.
She said the family’s lawyer appealed to the Magistrate’s Court to cancel the eviction order but the occupation authorities have shown no serious concern over or consideration of their case.
She added that the Israeli occupation deprived her of the right to health insurance for seven months and threatened to rescind her ID in case of further protest.
In mid-October, the Israeli District Court ruled for the evacuation of the Ghaith Sub Laban family’s home in Occupied Jerusalem within 45 days, in addition to a 10,000 shekel-fine.
Throughout the history of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, many civilians were forcefully displaced by Israel’s unlawful evictions and house demolitions.
“We have fought non-stop for the past years just to live in peace in the houses where we were born and grew up,” an elderly Palestinian said.
“When shall Israelis understand that these houses are not just walls for us? Every corner and every old wall and tile have memories for us. Evicting us will not only make us homeless, it will deprive us of our fundamental rights and dignity as human beings. Our lives will never be the same,” he added.
