The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday morning prevented Palestinian farmers in Jalud town, southeast of Nablus city, from harvesting their wheat fields.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli military and police forces stormed wheat fields in the town's eastern plains and barred farmers from continuing their work.
They added that the soldiers confiscated a farm tractor and a baling machine the farmers were using and fined one of them 1,000 shekels at the pretext of not having a license for the tractor.
They asserted that the Israeli measures against the farmers was in response to the request of an extremist Jewish settler, who came along with the soldiers.

Israeli forces, on Sunday, leveled private Palestinian farmland in Khirbet Tana, a small community in the northern West Bank village of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Palestinian security sources told Ma’an News Agency that several bulldozers under Israeli army escort had leveled more than 10 dunams (2.5 acres) of land between Khirbet Tana and Khirbet Yanoon.
The bulldozers then blocked off the area with mounds of earth and cement blocks. No explanation was given for the action.
According to the Applied Research Institute of Jerusalem, about 55 percent of Beit Furik's village lands are classified Area C, giving Israel full military and civil control.
Across the village, a 2014 report by ARIJ says, "hundreds of dunams of land belonging to Beit Furik town have been confiscated by the Israeli authorities, primarily for the purpose of establishing settlements, military bases and the construction of Israeli settlement roads."
However, the report particularly highlights difficulties faced by Khirbet Tana, writing: "This community has been subjected to increased harassment and human rights violations by the occupation authorities stationed in Nablus."
The community, which comprises around 40 houses, mainly tents and houses made of tin, has been demolished by Israeli forces " several times between 2005 and 2011."
The report adds: "Khirbet Tana has a severe lack of basic services such as water infrastructure, electricity, roads and communications.
"Despite this, Khirbet Tana community members have rebuilt their homes each time they have been demolished and have remained in their community."

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday morning, eight Dunams (around 2 acres) of farmland in the al-‘Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, demolished several structures, and uprooted fruit and olive trees.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said the soldiers demolished and bulldozed an 8.5 Dunam farm belonging to the sons of the late Sabri Yahia Darwish, and uprooted more than 150 trees. (Olive, Palm, Peach, Cactus, and Pomegranate)
Mohammad Abu al-Hummus of the Follow-up Committee in the al-‘Eesawiyya town, said Israeli bulldozers of the City Council and the “Environment Protection Department,” also demolished a 60 square meter building that includes a kitchen, bathroom, and an indoor planting room, in addition to their water well and the well’s surrounding wall.
Abu al-Hummus said the soldiers did not even show the residents any official demolition order, and prevented them from entering their property.
Resident Adnan Darwish said the family has all official deeds, approved by the Israeli court, and said the destruction even violates Israeli law, as well as international law.
Hani al-’Eesawy of the Land Defense Committee in the al-‘Eesawiyya town, said the attack violated a ruling issues last year, ordering a halt on the construction of the “Talmudic Garden,” located on more than 740 Dunams (184 acres) of lands owned by Palestinians from al-‘Eesawiyya and at-Tour villages.
He added that the Palestinian landowners have been involved in a lengthy legal battle in Israeli courts since Israel announced its plan to build the “garden”, in 2007.
Al-‘Eesawy also said that uprooting the lands, and destroying the Palestinian property, exposed the true nature of the Israeli plan to build a new settlement outpost on Palestinian lands, in order to prevent any Palestinian geographical contiguity.
Raed Abu Ryala of the Follow-Up Committee said the destroyed farm is located within the plot of land Israel has been trying to illegal confiscate to build the garden.
He added that, in September of 2014, the Israeli Regional Construction and Planning Committee ruled that construction could not begin on the “Talmudic Garden” project in at-Tour and al-‘Eesawiyya, but could begin construction in other places outside of the properties in question.
The Palestinian landowners who are losing their land point out that the Israeli confiscation of their land is part of the larger E1 settlement plan that is aimed at the illegal confiscation of large areas of Palestinian lands to complete the chain of illegal settlements around Jerusalem, and the subsequent prevention of any Palestinian geographical contiguity.

The destroyed facilities include a 30-square-meter room, a water well, a fence, and an agricultural land, he added.
He clarified that the destroyed facilities, that belong to the family of Sabri Yahya Darwis, were initially slated for confiscation as part of an Israeli plan to build a national park in their place known as E1 plan.
The plan, intended to confiscate 740 dunums of private land in Issawiya, was rejected in September 2014 by an Israeli Planning and Zoning committee.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday morning, the al-Khalayla neighborhood in the al-Jeeb town, northwest of occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished three Palestinian industrial structures.
Several military vehicles, and bulldozers, invaded the neighborhood, approximately at 6:30 in the morning, and demolished a blacksmith workshop belonging to al-Kiswani family, and two car repair facilities, belonging to Nour al-Matari and Mohannad Mansour.
Israel alleges the structures were built without construction permits.
Head of the Local Council, Ismael Abu Rabah, said this is the fourth time the soldiers demolish the Kiswani family blacksmith workshop that provides livelihood to more than twenty Palestinians, while the Mansour workshop provides livelihood to three families.
Abu Rabah added that the families filed construction permits to the City Council more than four years ago, and paid at least 50.000 NIS to obtain all needed permits and documents.
He added that the al-Matari workshop was first demolished five months ago, and that the City Council “practically froze all construction applications, civil and for industrial purposes, more than thirty years ago.”
The al-Khalayla neighborhood has been under strict Israeli measures for more than ten years, while the army prevents any Palestinian, who is not a resident of the neighborhood, from entering without a permit.
The same restrictions also apply to food products and goods, Abu Rabah said.
“Add to that the daily suffering and humiliation the children are subjected to on the al-Jeeb roadblock,” he added, “The soldiers stop and search them every single school day, causing delays. The army inspects even our food products; everything requires prior coordination and permission from the Israeli Authorities.”
He also said the 900 Palestinians live in the neighborhood, while Israel is threatening to demolish several homes, as the neighborhood is surrounded by illegal Israeli colonies that are constantly expanding, while the residents are not even allowed to live on their own lands, and build homes.
