Palestinian sources have reported that Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, and handed destruction orders targeting a home, and a residential building, allegedly for being built without permits.
Member of the Follow-up Committee in the town Mohammad Abu Al-Hummus stated that dozens of soldiers, police officers and City Council employees invaded the town and handed the orders.
He said that an order was handed to resident Hasan Abu al-Hummus targeting his home where seven family members live.
Soldiers also invaded a residential building of four apartments, took photographs of the building, all apartments, and all of its facilities. The building is also facing destruction under same claims.
Furthermore, dozens of soldiers invaded al-Anayta Road and nearby lands, as Israel intends to illegally confiscate lands to create a trash dump-site.
In a previous report, the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) has reported that Israel demolished more than 27.000 Palestinian homes and structures since the 1967 six-day war when it occupied the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
Home demolition is an act of collective punishment that affects entire families, and act that directly violates International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory.
While Israel continues to deny the Palestinians in Jerusalem the right to build or even modify their homes, it continues to build and expand its illegitimate settlements in the city and the rest of the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses have reported Saturday [November 9 2013] that a number of extremist Israeli settlers invaded Palestinian lands west of the central West Bank city of Salfit, bulldozed them and installed a number of mobile homes in an attempt to expand their adjacent Revava illegal settlement.
Head of the Deir Estia town council Ayyoub Abu Hijla stated that the lands are located in the western side of the town, and that the settlers are continually trying to expand their illegal settlement.
Palestinian researcher Khaled Ma’aly said that Revava is one of 23 illegal Israeli settlements in the Salfit District, and was established on lands that belong to Deir Estia residents in 1991, preventing any expansion of the town.
Ma’aly added that the settlers also bulldozed and uprooted more Palestinian lands close to other settlements near Salfit, including lands near the settlements of Leshim, Brokhin and Borkan, and are building new units there.
In related news, extremist settlers attacked a number of residents in Burin village, south of Nablus.
The settlers invaded areas on the edges of the village, and clashed with local residents.
Israeli Soldiers then invaded the village and fired gas bombs causing several residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Notice posted on Yabad olive trees
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have notified 70 villagers in Yabad, south of Jenin, that their olive trees would be chopped down after four days of verbal threats to the same effect. Local sources said that 500 olive trees would be cut off by the IOF soldiers in reprisal to the alleged throwing of stones by Yabad youngsters at soldiers.
They said that the IOF invented a new method of informing the farmers of cutting off their trees, namely hanging the written notifications on the targeted trees rather than delivering them to their owners.
The sources said that the IOF said the destruction would start within the coming few days as a military bulldozer was seen at the entrance to a nearby settlement in preparation for the destruction spree.
Samer Abu Bakir, the chairman of Yabad municipality, said in a press release on Saturday that the IOF claimed that youngsters from the village were throwing stones at soldiers and settlers’ buses from olive groves.
IOF soldiers have been occupying a house in Yabad for the past two weeks after a firebomb was tossed at a bus for settlers near the village and the soldiers have been raiding the village on daily basis since then.
Israel orders destruction of village olive grove in retaliation for alleged stone throwing
The Israeli military has issued demolition orders for hundreds of Palestinian olive trees in the village of Yabad, in the northern West Bank, following threats that if kids kept throwing stones at soldiers, the army would destroy the village's olive trees.
The village is located west of Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank, and depends largely on the annual olive harvest for its income.
According to local sources, the military placed notices in Hebrew and Arabic on trees throughout the main olive grove in town, saying that they will be uprooted by military order.
Over a million olive trees have been uprooted by the Israeli occupation forces since 2000, and the destruction continues to take place on a regular basis. The destruction of olive trees, both by Israeli soldiers and the Israeli military, is concentrated during the olive harvest season of October and November each year, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinian farmers head to their groves to harvest their olives for that year.
The mayor of the village of Yabad told the Ma'an News Agency that a few days before these military orders were issued, the soldiers had come into town and told the villagers that if kids in the town kept throwing stones at the soldiers when they invade the town, the army would come back and cut down all the olive trees in town.

Israeli violations have escalated against Jerusalemites during October, including arrests against minors and children, in addition to demolition orders against Palestinian houses and facilities in occupied Jerusalem, Palestinian human rights sources said. In its monthly report, Wadi Hilweh Information Center revealed that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested in October 75 Jerusalemites including 45 children aged 10-17 years, some of them were accused of throwing stones 100 days earlier.
The report pointed out that demolition campaigns have noticeably escalated during October against Jerusalemites' houses, facilities, and sheds.
Israeli bulldozers demolished a three-story building, which was built 10 years ago. As a result, nine Jerusalemites were displaced.
Another building consisting of 3 floors with the first floor having 4 commercial stores was also razed in the neighborhood of Beit Hanina north of Jerusalem under the pretext of building without a permit.
Two rooms, in Jabal Mukaber, and four stores in Beit Hanina were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, Israeli demolition orders have increased against Palestinian houses and buildings in occupied Jerusalem particularly Shufat refugee camp, Silwan and Beit Hanina, and Sawwanah.
Nearly 200 demolition orders were issued against houses and stores accommodating 16 thousand Jerusalemites, the report said.
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem municipality court ordered the demolition of part of a building owned by the family of Siam located in the neighborhood of Bi’er Ayoub in Silwan. The building consists of 5 floors and accommodates 25 Jerusalemites mostly children.
The report pointed to the escalating Israeli break-ins into al-Aqsa mosque at daily basis, noting that settlers raised the Israeli flag on the day of Arafa.
The center's monthly report revealed Israeli scheme to build a synagogue in al-Aqsa Mosque as a prelude to dividing the mosque spatially and temporally.
Israeli Ministry of Religious Affairs has submitted a bill allowing Jews to pray in al-Aqsa mosque for the first time since 1967.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided on Thursday afternoon the north of the Gaza Strip, where they opened fire at the farmers and razed Palestinian lands. An eyewitness told Quds Press that a number of Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by bulldozers, penetrated on Thursday afternoon in the east of the town of Jabaliya in the north of Gaza.
He added that the occupation vehicles raided Abu Samra farm and opened fire at the farmers. No injuries were reported.
The Israeli bulldozers then began bulldozing the lands, forcing the farmers to leave the place.
The IOF had earlier raided the citizens' lands in the south of Gaza and fired shots at fishermen at sea.
This incursion is to be added to the series of the Israeli continued violations of the truce agreement that was signed on the 21 November 2012 between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation under Egyptian auspices.
11 Palestinians have been killed since then, while dozens have been arrested or wounded by IOF gunfire. The Israeli forces have also arrested and wounded nearly 50 fishermen and blew and confiscated a number of fishing boats in the Gaza Sea.

Several Israeli occupation bulldozers, backed by military vehicles, carried out a limited incursion east of al-Zaytoun quarter and Juhr al-Dik village to the south-east of Gaza City, local media said. Watchtowers stationed east of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip opened fire at houses and agricultural lands of citizens; no injuries have been reported.
Safa News Agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying "four Israeli bulldozers moved Wednesday at 6:00 AM from 'Eagle Gate' in a limited way into east Zeitoun area east of Gaza City, and began leveling and combing farms just 200 meters from the border fence,"
The bulldozers have entered the territory with the support of four artillery vehicles, and intense flying of reconnaissance aircraft at low levels, Safa said, adding that "the vehicles have dug expansively reaching the eastern tip of Juhr al-Dik village in the south of the city,"
In Rafah city, the military towers located near the so-called Military Sofa Site east of Rafah intermittently fired at Palestinian houses and agricultural property during the early morning hours, according to Safa correspondent.
He pointed out that Israeli warplanes flew on a heavy scale at night and threw light bombs at the east of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza Strip, specifically at where medical personnel and local civil defense are conduction search operations for the remains of two al-Qassam Brigades resistance members killed Friday at dawn.

Dozens of Jewish settlers took control of a number of houses in Al-Khalil on Tuesday under protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF). Local sources said that the settlers occupied homes of Qufaisha and Abu Snene families in the Old City of Al-Khalil near to the Ibrahimi mosque.
The sources said that IOF soldiers secured the way before settlers, adding that those settlers want to establish a settlement outpost near the mosque to prevent worshipers from entering it or even living near it.
The settlers had earlier occupied other homes in the Old City under IOF protection in line with their scheme to Judaize the city.

The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) served 11 demolition notifications in occupied Jerusalem, a Hebrew press report said on Monday. Ha’aretz daily said that Jerusalem municipality distributed the notifications that stipulate the demolition of 11 Palestinian buildings at the pretext they were built without permits.
It said that the buildings are located in Ras Khamis and Ras Shehade suburbs in the Palestinian side of the separation wall.
The IOA has accelerated its demolition spree in the occupied holy city in a bid to force its indigenous inhabitants to desert their homes and pave the way for Judaizing it.
Israel orders demolition of Palestinian homes
Israel has revealed new plans for demolition of Palestinian houses in East Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank, which will leave thousands of Palestinians homeless. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday that Jerusalem municipality has begun issuing demolition orders.
Most of the orders are in Ras Khamis and Ras Shehada, two neighborhoods near the Shuafat refugee camp in the north of al-Quds on the Palestinian side of the separation fence.
Nearly 70,000 Palestinians live within the municipal boundaries of Jerusalem, but on the far side of the separation barrier.
Residents of Silwan on the outskirts of Jerusalem’s Old City say they also received demolition orders last week.
According to Palestinian sources, demolitions will leave some 15,000 people homeless.
This comes against the backdrop of Israel’s new plans for building more settler units in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Recently, Tel Aviv announced plans to build about 3,000 mor settlement units on the Palestinian territory, despite opposition from the UN and the international community.
On Sunday, Israel published tenders for the construction of over 1,800 new illegal settler units in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The presence and continued expansion of Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine has created a major obstacle for the efforts to establish peace in the Middle East.
The UN and most countries regard the Israeli settlements as illegal because the territories were captured by Israel in a war in 1967 and are hence subject to the Geneva Conventions, which forbids construction on occupied lands.
Palestinians are seeking to create an independent state on the territories of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip and are demanding Israel to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories.
Tel Aviv, however, has refused to return to the 1967 borders and is unwilling to discuss the issue of Jerusalem.

For his part, the researcher Khaled Ma'ali stated that expansion work have been carried out in Brochan settlement built on Palestinian lands west of Salfit aiming at linking the settlement with Trans-Samaria settlement road.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian report revealed that 1900 olive trees were uprooted by Jewish settlers in West Bank during last month in coincidence with the olive harvest.
Anti Apartheid Wall And Settlements Popular Campaign stated that it has documented hundreds of settlers' daily attacks and violations against Palestinians and their properties during October in the West Bank.
The report stated that Palestinian lands adjacent to Israeli settlements witnessed an escalation in settlers' attacks during olive harvest.
Meanwhile, occupation forces prevented, on Sunday, Palestinian farmers from having access to their lands in order to pick olives in the West Bank.
For his part, the coordinator of the Popular Campaign Against the Wall and settlement, Salah al-Khawaja said in a press statement that the farmers were able to have access to their land after waiting for more than two hours amid heavy presence of police and occupation forces.

The mayor of Idna, Hashim Tmeizi, said Israeli forces handed a notification to a house belonging to Tareq Mohammad Itmaiza and agricultural properties belonging to Mohammad Ahmad Faraj Allah. The Israeli forces instructed Faraj Allah to demolish 12 agricultural properties he has owned for 10 years.
Three days ago, the Israeli forces handed notifications and stop-work orders for properties belonging to the Idna association for cooperation and livestock development.
Tmeizi called on governmental and human rights organizations to support the Palestinian people in Idna as the village is in Area C, which is controlled by the Israeli military.
In the al-Ghamqa area in Idna village west of Hebron, Israeli forces claimed that two houses were not constructed with appropriate permits. The houses belong to Hamdan Mohammad Bashir and Mohammad Khalil Hamdan.
Israeli forces raided the village and handed notifications to people there. They closed the main entrance of the village until 8 a.m., preventing Palestinians from going to work.
Justifying the move, Israeli forces distributed a statement from the military commander of the Hebron area warning residents in the area not to tamper with the separation barrier.

Municipality officers escorted by Israeli soldiers issued demolition warrants for thousands of Palestinian homes in the East Jerusalem neighborhoods of Ras Khamis and Ras Shahada on Friday, a local Palestinian official said.
Jamil Sanduqa, who chairs a local committee to develop the Ras Khamis neighborhood, said that over 15,000 Palestinians live in the buildings slated for demolition. The warrants were posted on 200 residential blocks each consisting of 40-70 apartments and the owners were given 30 days to submit objections to the demolition orders, Sanduqa said. He added that municipality officers took photos of several buildings located near the entrance to the |
neighborhoods before they issued the orders. Among the buildings was a mosque and a newly built school.
“The orders came very shortly after incumbent mayor Nir Barakat has been elected for a new term," Sanduqa said.
"The municipal council of Jerusalem is a racist council founded to demolish Palestinian residential buildings and to displace us from Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
He warned that if any building in the nearby Shufat refugee camp "is demolished, we will establish a new refugee camp in Al-Aqsa Mosque erecting tents in its yards.”
Israel has destroyed more than 500 Palestinian properties in the West Bank and mostly East Jerusalem since the beginning of this year, displacing 862 people, according to UNOCHA.
Israel rarely grants Palestinians permits to build in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. It has demolished at least 27,000 Palestinian homes and structures since occupying the West Bank in 1967, according to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation bulldozers are making roads for settlers inside and outside the settlements, destroying the lands in Salfit. Researcher in settlement expansion in the province Khaled Ma'aly said in a statement on Wednesday that the bypass roads in Salfit caused the confiscation of thousands of dunums of agricultural lands and the uprooting of thousands of trees, including olive trees.
He pointed out that the most serious of these roads that have been previously constructed is the Trans-Samaria Highway (505). It extends a length of 20 km and 100 m wide, from Kafr Kassem to Za'atara roadblock. There is also the Trans-Samaria Road 5 which was constructed in 2000 as an alternative to Road 505 to be used by Israeli settlers connecting them with settlements inside the 1948 territories. This road extends at a length of 14 kilometers and 100 meters wide.
He added that there are many other numbered ways inside and outside the settlements. They constructed on the agricultural lands of Salfit, which has caused the agricultural sector big losses.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided two areas in Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning and bulldozed cultivated land lots. Palestinian security sources said in a press statement that IOF soldiers advanced into eastern Gaza city and east of Beit Hanun in northern Gaza at the same time.
A field observer said that IOF soldiers advanced 300 meters in agricultural land east of Gaza city and escorted bulldozers that leveled land.
A similar IOF force entered northern Gaza and bulldozed cultivated land.
The incident is the latest of a series of violations of the calm agreement between Israel and resistance factions in Gaza signed in November last year.

Bulldozers of the Israeli municipality of occupied Jerusalem razed a Palestinian home in Beit Hanina on Wednesday morning at the usual pretext of lack of construction permit.
